We Found a Yoga Studio in Poznań That’ll Fix Your Body AND Your Relationship

Here’s the Twist

At Poznań Daily, we’re always chasing excellence — food, footy, falafel… and now, flexibility. Yep, this time we stepped out of our comfort zone (and into stretchy pants) in search of a yoga experience with a little extra something. And let us tell you: we found it. In a quiet corner of Poznań, there’s a woman teaching yoga and Thai massage… with a twist.

Yoga, Sure… But Also, Learn to Massage Your Partner?!

No, it’s not what you think. This isn’t one of those “massage parlors.” This is Barbara‘s domain — a calm, mindful space where you and your partner can learn the art of Thai massage together. Yes, together. As in: you both leave not only feeling relaxed, but knowing how to give each other a proper massage that isn’t just random back pokes and elbow digs. Revolutionary? We think yes.

So obviously we had to find out more. And once we read Barbara’s story, we were like, damn, this woman’s journey is a whole vibe.

From Goethe-Institut to Goa Vibes

Barbara started out teaching German at the Goethe-Institut (yes, German). But then she took a left turn into yoga, and let’s just say — she’s been flowing ever since. From India to Myanmar, Oman, Bali, and more, Barbara’s path has taken her through the soul of Eastern movement practices.

She studied in Bangalore, taught on retreats, soaked up local techniques and philosophies, and somewhere along the line — she stopped just doing yoga and started living it.

When she returned to Poland, she brought that whole-world energy with her. Her yoga? A creative mix of Sivananda, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, trauma-informed practices, even Animal Flow. Her massage? A therapeutic Thai method refined through dozens of trainings, mastered under legit pros like Alfonso Cazenave and Balazs Nemeth.

The Thai Massage Twist (And Shout)

Barbara doesn’t just do Thai massage — she teaches couples how to do it for each other with a guided massage session practice in pairs. We’ve never seen that in Poznań before. You and your partner show up, lie down, and not only get relaxed, but leave with real skills.

It’s like a relationship upgrade disguised as a spa session. And honestly? After hearing how many people in this city are overworked and overstimulated, we’re thinking this might be the exact kind of couples therapy we all need.

Final Thoughts

Barbara is a rare one — grounded, warm, wise, and probably the only person who can get us to do yoga without bribing us with coffee after. Her studio is part chill zone, part movement lab, and 100% free of judgment.

We’ve already booked the 2-in-1 yoga + massage session (yes, seriously), and we’ll report back soon. But if you’re feeling tight, tired, or just straight-up curious, hit her up and feel it for yourself.

Still not convinced? No worries — you can actually try the magic for free (or donate what you feel) during her open-air yoga classes in Park Sołacz. She holds them once a week, and honestly, there’s nothing like stretching under trees to the sound of birds and Barbara’s calm energy.

Check her Facebook events page for the latest schedule and just show up with a mat, some chill vibes, and maybe your future inner peace. Namaste, Poznań.
