Viet Nam Quan: Your Next Must-Hit Spot for Authentic Vietnamese Vibes

The Lowdown

We finally made it to Viet Nam Quan in Jeżyce Square, and it was about time! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point—bamboo walls giving off that authentic, chill atmosphere, and you could tell straight away this is a family-run spot. The entire crew is Vietnamese, which just hits differently when you’re diving into Asian food. Plus, they nailed both Polish and English, so no worries about ordering.

This place was buzzing with lunchtime energy—always a good sign. We didn’t wait long for a table, and then it was down to business with the menu. Here’s what we went for:

Bun Cha & Nem (38 PLN)

Starting off strong with the Bun Cha & Nem—think fresh bun noodles paired with juicy grilled pork neck and two Saigon-style rolls. This dish comes soaked in a rich fish sauce that blends sweet, savory, and tangy flavors effortlessly. It’s light, but the flavor? Anything but. Perfect for sharing with the squad.

Kurczak Viet Nam Quan (30 PLN)

Next up, Kurczak Viet Nam Quan—crispy-skinned chicken swimming in a secret sauce that brings a nice balance between savory and sweet. The veggies were crunchy, adding that much-needed texture. Heads up: some might find it a bit on the fatty side, but honestly, that’s part of the authentic vibe. We loved it just the way it was.

Wieprzowina po Seczuansku (29 PLN)

Our third pick was the Sichuan-style pork—and it did not disappoint. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the veggies had that soft but crunchy bite, and the sauce was an explosion of flavors: sweet, salty, garlicky, with that subtle heat you crave from Sichuan cuisine. It’s the kind of dish that makes you want to lick the plate.

The Drinks: Vietnamese Coffee & Kumquat Lemonade

To wash it all down, we had to grab the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. If you haven’t tried it before, think of it as a rich, sweet, and slightly caramelized coffee that hits hard. The caffeine boost? Unreal. We also couldn’t resist their kumquat lemonade—refreshing with a twist of that zesty, tart kumquat fruit, which gives off a citrusy explosion that’s less sour than a lemon but packs a punch.

The Verdict

All in all, Viet Nam Quan nails the experience. The food is flavorful, the prices are super reasonable, and the service is quick and friendly. If you haven’t been yet, get yourself down to Jeżyce Square ASAP for some top-notch Vietnamese eats. We give it a solid thumbs up!
