Yo, Poznań! We just found a cool spot in Łazarz called Beer To Go, and it’s about to be your new fave place to get draft beer to go! Opened three years ago, this place is killin’ it with a dope draft-to-bottle service. They’ve even got a second location in Winogrady with tables and a chill vibe. Both joints have a dried fish counter to pair with your beer. We caught up with the owner, Maks from Ukraine in his Winogrady location, who brought this rad trend to Poznań. Check out our convo with the man himself!

Hey Maks! We’re diggin’ the draft-to-go concept. How many taps you rockin’?

Hey! Thanks, we’ve got 16 taps in Łazarz and 20 at the new Winogrady spot.

Are you the only place in Poznań doing this?

There might be others, but we kicked it off first.

What are the bottle sizes we can add draft beer to go?

0,5L, 1L, 1.5L and 2L

Is it just beer on tap?

No way! We’ve also got prosecco, cider, and Aperol Spritz!

What’s up with the dried fish?

It’s the ultimate beer snack. These salty bites make you thirsty and help balance the bitterness of the beers. Perfect combo!

Do you have your own beer?

Sure do. We’ve got four exclusive brews: Witbier, Milk Stout, Marcowe, and Kölsch. You won’t find these anywhere else.

Shops in Poznań can’t sell alcohol after 10 pm. How about you?

We’re good to go after 10 pm! We’re open until 11 pm, and it gets pretty busy, haha.

Does draft beer taste better?

Absolutely! Freshness is key. Draft beer is fresher and tastier. For a smooth, flavorful experience, draft beer is the way to go.

So, do you sip beers every day?

Haha, used to when we first opened. Now, it’s mostly a weekend thing!

Is this a thing in Ukraine?

They’re everywhere!

It’s been awesome chatting, Maks. I’ll definitely be a regular. One last thing… What are your top 3 picks right now?

Gotta say, the Witbier by Beer To Go, the Holba from Czech with its perfect malt and hop balance, and the Blue Moon from the USA—a wheat beer with Valencia orange peel for that sweet, citrusy vibe. I have to include the Estrella Damm from Spain also, a classic lager that’s been around since 1876. Delicious!

If you’re in Poznań, hit up Beer To Go at Matejki 38 in Łazarz or Slowiańska 40N in Winogrady. Both spots usually close at 10 pm, but the Winogrady location is open until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Swing by and say what’s up to Maks for us! 🍻
