Poznan Daily awards Lê La The Best Vietnamese Spot of the Year 2025

Yo Poznan!

It’s that time of year again — when we at Poznań Daily start arguing, debating, and (occasionally) throwing items across the table to decide our favorite restaurants for 2025. We already crowned La Bottega as the best Italian (props), and judging by the feedback, you guys were vibing with us hard.

Now, if there’s one thing our crew takes way too seriously, it’s Vietnamese food. No joke — we’ve been slurping noodles and inhaling phở from Rataje to Jeżyce all year. So when it came time to pick our Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Poznań 2025, we went in deep undercover — and by undercover, we mean sunglasses indoors and pretending to “just browse the menu” while ordering half of it.

And the winner?

Drumroll, please… Lê La

The name Lê La literally means chilling in Vietnamese — hanging out, slow life, watching the world go by. And honestly, that’s the vibe here. But don’t get it twisted — even though it’s a chill spot, the food is straight-up fire. Massive love to all the other Vietnamese spots holding it down in Poznań — you keep us fed and happy. But Lê La pulled a fast one on you. Six weeks in and boom!

Yep. Six. But when brilliance slaps you in the face, you gotta admit it. Owner Natalie Tran, fresh outta Hanoi (where the street food scene is basically a religion — people out there queue longer for noodles than we do for Manekin.), skipped the corporate job hunt after finishing her Master’s in Management Innovation and said, “Nah, I’m building something cooler.” Together with her husband, she brought a slice of modern Vietnam to Jeżyce — and we’re so glad she did.

This isn’t your fancy “sit-for-three-hours-with-a-fork-you-don’t-need” kinda joint. It’s quick, modern, clean, and alive. The space is simple, a few Vietnamese newspapers on the walls, and that’s it — no unnecessary décor, because the menu does all the talking.

Energy

Natalie’s got a young team, some of them literally her uni mates (we love that — friends who fry spring rolls together, stay together 😂). The crew’s smiles hit different — that Vietnamese warmth that makes you feel like you’ve just been adopted into the family. There’s something about their energy that makes you remember: hospitality isn’t about serving, it’s about connecting.

Must Try Dish!

Now, let’s talk food, because this is where Lê La flexes hard.
Their Bún Bò Nam Bộ (38 PLN) OWNS us!
For those who don’t speak fluent Vietnamese menu yet, Bún means vermicelli noodles, means beef, and Nam Bộ means “southern-style” — basically, it’s Southern Vietnamese beef noodle salad, and it slaps. Picture this: tender slices of beef over thin rice noodles, crunchy peanuts, fried onions, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and that sauce — oh, that sauce — that hits that sweet-sour-salty umami symphony like a perfect pop song.

Now, here’s the kicker: you can choose between soya sauce or fish sauce to drizzle over the top. And if you wanna eat like the locals — trust us — go fish sauce every time. It’s what the Vietnamese swear by. (Sure, it smells a little funky at first — but like durian, once you get past the intro, it’s pure poetry).

Every bite’s got that balance — freshness, spice, and crunch that makes you wanna stand up and clap. No exaggeration — this is hands-down the best Vietnamese dish we’ve had in two years of Poznań Daily history. Period.

Still Hungry?

If you’re still hungry (and trust us, you will be), get the Saigonki with shrimp — crispy, golden perfection — and wash it all down with the Lychee Tea Cheese Cloud. A perfect combo! Yeah, you read that right — it’s sweet, creamy, floral, and weirdly addictive. Like a romantic K-pop ballad in drink form.

A Masterclass

Natalie’s story is lowkey inspiring — proof that you don’t need a fortune to build something special, just guts, passion, and maybe a few sleepless nights. She’s giving young Poland a masterclass in how to turn dreams into actual reality — and serve bomb food while doing it. Food so fire you’ll be pulling out your phone to order takeout while you’re still eating

Official Verdict

Lê La – Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Poznań 2025.
Small place, big flavor, big heart.

Dąbrowskiego 39, right across from Rynek Jeżycki.
Go during the week unless you love standing in line — weekends here are wild.

Bravo, Lê La. Vietnam would be proud!
