Yo Poznan!
Pilates in Poznań? Still trending. New studios? Popping up like mushrooms after rain. But how do you find the special ones? The ones that aren’t just mats and mirrors?
We hit the streets, asked around, and landed in Winogrady on Czarna Rola 35. Welcome to Studio 35, the brainchild of Karol Abramek — a man who’s been teaching movement longer than most of us have been on solid food.

The Man, The Myth, The Movement Maestro
We reached out to Karol to get the lowdown, and it turns out Karol’s résumé reads like the Poznań Daily version of a Marvel backstory. He’s been everything: trainer, choreographer, dance teacher, personal trainer, manager, group class guru, even the guy behind his own dance theatre. If it involved moving, grooving, or stretching, chances are he’s taught it.

He’s repped BodyArt across Poland and abroad, choreographed for traditional ensembles, and now he’s all about something he fell in love with decades ago: Pilates.
And then there’s FREEDA — his own creation. Think of it as a movement system born out of Karol’s 35+ years of body wisdom, part workout, part therapy, part “wait… why do I suddenly feel taller?”

A Studio That’s Also a Home
One thing that makes Studio 35 stand out? It’s not just a place to roll out your mat and sweat it out — it’s literally part of Karol’s life. The space doubles as both his studio and his home, which means you instantly feel like you’ve been welcomed into something warmer than just another polished fitness room. There’s no cold, corporate vibe here. Instead, it’s got that home-kitchen energy — you know, the kind where the coffee is always hot, the vibes are always friendly, and you leave feeling like you were part of something personal.

That mix of professional experience and homey atmosphere is exactly why Studio 35 clicks with people. You don’t just go there to train; you go there to connect, to move, and to feel part of a community that’s more than just dumbbells and reformers.

Body & Mind
At Studio 35, it’s not just “get in, sweat, get out.” Classes here mix functional strength with breathwork, and yes, there’s music. Sometimes it pumps you up, sometimes it chills you down — either way, it’s not your boring background playlist.
Group classes are small (so you can’t hide in the back) and tailored — Pilates on mats, Pilates with equipment, duets if you want to sweat with your partner, or personal training if you want Karol’s eyes on your every move.

English Speakers, Rejoice
Starting in September, Karol is adding classes in English. So, if you’ve been hiding behind the excuse of “oh, but I don’t speak Polish yet,” that card just got revoked. Time to swap Netflix for a reformer.
The Damage
Here’s the breakdown:
Personal training → 250 PLN for one lesson, or 1500 PLN for 8 (big savings there).
Group classes → 70 PLN on mats, 90 PLN with equipment.
Duets → 350 PLN for two people (bring a partner, or bribe a friend).
And Karol runs promos throughout the year, so don’t be shy to ask.

Final Stretch
Pilates might be trending everywhere, but Studio 35 feels like the real deal. Decades of experience, a custom system (FREEDA), and a founder who legit eats, breathes, and lives movement.

We’re booked for our intro lesson with Karol soon — so stay tuned for our firsthand sweat report. But if you can’t wait, hit up his Instagram or his website, and grab your spot before the mats fill up.
Winogrady, you’ve officially leveled up.
