Urgent!
The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has announced a preventive recall of several batches of infant formula sold in Poland due to the possible presence of cereulidin — a toxic substance produced by Bacillus cereus.
The recall was initiated by Nutricia Polska Sp. z o.o., which says the decision was made out of concern for infant safety and to comply with the latest European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) guidelines.

Affected products include selected batches of:
- BEBIKO 1 nutriFLOR EXPERT (350 g, 600 g, 700 g)
- BEBIKO PRO+ 1 (700 g)
- Bebilon 1 Advance Pronutra (350 g, 800 g, 1000 g)
- Bebilon 2 Advance Pronutra (800 g, 1000 g)
The recalled products have minimum durability dates ranging from mid-2026 to January 2027.
What parents should do
Consumers are advised not to use the affected products and to follow return instructions provided by the manufacturer or retailer.
GIS stresses that the recall is precautionary, but parents and caregivers should check packaging details carefully.
