Yo!
Here we go again, folks — another round of Poznań’s Top 5 Photographers (yeah, we’re still out here scouting talent so you don’t have to scroll hashtags for hours). Portraits are having their moment, and our inbox has been flooded with people asking who can make them look less “LinkedIn headshot” and more “Hollywood mystery protagonist.”
We’ve already dropped a few jaw-dropping names, but this time we went digging for something with more… cinematic flair. And oh boy, we found it. Imagine portraits that look so much like movie stills, you half expect Netflix to drop the trailer.
The Director Behind the Lens
That’s when we stumbled upon Anastasiia — the lens magician behind @artportret.poznan — and let’s just say, her work didn’t just catch our eye… it directed, scored, and edited it too.

Her portraits don’t just show faces; they tell stories. The kind of shots that make you look like you’ve just walked out of a 70s indie film, clutching secrets and trauma, while soft jazz plays in the background.
What makes her different?
So what makes a cinematic portrait photographer different? Think of it like this: a normal photographer captures you. A cinematic photographer captures your main character energy. Anastasiia builds entire scenes — lighting, mood, costumes, fabrics, gestures — all woven together to tell a visual story that’s equal parts art and therapy. Every session feels like stepping onto a set, where you’re not just being photographed… you’re starring in your own film.
“I focus on cinematic storytelling,” Anastasiia told us. “Each portrait is a frame from a movie that doesn’t exist yet — but it feels like it should.”
The Shots That Speak
She works mostly with people who live and breathe creativity — artists, dreamers, theatre kids, and anyone who sees photography as more than a mirror. Sessions start at around 900 zł (depending on the concept and production), and trust us, it’s worth every złoty if you’ve ever wanted your life to look like a Wes Anderson fever dream.

That’s a Wrap
We’ve already booked a private session ourselves — we’re throwing in one of our older crew members to see what Anastasiia can do with a face that’s seen too many all-nighters and kebabs at 3 AM.

An interview with her is already in the works, but until then — if you’ve ever wanted to look like the mysterious lead in an A24 film, book her. Now. Just don’t be surprised when people start asking which streaming service you’re starring on.

Because let’s be honest — who doesn’t want their next profile pic to look like it came with a soundtrack?
