Tucked deep in the courtyard off Św. Marcin 26, behind the buzz of the Old Town, sits one of the most slept-on yet iconic joints in Poznan Jameson Billard’s Club. This ain’t your average flashy pool hall with LED lights and marble floors. Nah, this place drips with vibe. It’s giving English pub with a sprinkle of neon, like someone threw a 2000s dive bar and a 2025 cocktail lounge in a blender — and it works.
We slid through to catch up with the boss lady Sandra, who’s been holding it down since way back. She took us behind the curtain of this legendary spot, and here’s the scoop:
From Bartender to Boss
Jameson first hit the scene back in November 2000, brought to life by Sławomir Śmiłowski and managed by Karolina Jaźwicka. Sandra jumped on board in 2006 — started at the bottom as a barback, worked her way up to bartender, and now she’s running the whole damn show. Just before the pandemic, the club was bought by Emil Oponowicz and Dawid Borowiak who took the reins and together with Sandra, shaped the club into what it is today.
“Poznan Jameson Billard’s Club has seen generations of players come and go. Now we’re leveling up the service, adding proper classic cocktails, and the vibe’s never been better,” Sandra told us, with that unmistakable old-school passion.
Cocktails That Hit
Sure, you can crack open a cold one, but don’t sleep on the bar game. This ain’t basic. We’re talking Old Fashioneds, Whiskey Sours, Pornstar Martinis, Mai Tais, Long Islands, and smooth-ass Daiquiris, all crafted to perfection. Wanna freestyle a drink? Just say the word — Sandra’s crew will sort you out.
Not drinking tonight? No stress. Cop a Shirley Temple with ginger beer or one of their custom mocktails that still bring the flavor. Beers on tap? Of course. Guinness and the usuals — plus craft brews and even non-alcoholic options.

They got four 8-ft pool tables, and you can feel the weight of the history on ‘em. Prices shift depending on the time, but here’s the rundown:
Before 7PM: 25 PLN/hr
After 7PM (Sun–Thu): 30 PLN/hr
After 7PM (Fri–Sat): 36 PLN/hr
Students Wednesdays: 15% off everything
Happy Hours daily until 7PM – even on the non-alcoholic beers
And yo, they don’t close early. On weekends? They’re open till 3AM.
Monthly Tournaments
If you got skills, show up on the last Sunday of every month for the regular pool tournaments. Whether you’re a casual player or a cue-slinging shark, this is the place to flex.
