Spotlight
A few weeks back, we dropped a spotlight on Inktoriam, a lowkey but high-impact tattoo studio tucked away on Długa 10, right in the heart of Poznań’s Old Town. This time, we pulled up for the full story — no filters, no fluff — just raw conversation with the man behind the machine, Igor Dogadin.

So, what’s your nickname in the tattoo game?
I actually don’t have one. I’m on Instagram just as myself — @igordogadin. Keeping it simple. Keeping it real.
Preferred style?
Realism, no doubt. That’s my thing.
Ever screwed up a tattoo?
Of course! Every artist has at some point. But we always find a way to fix it — that’s part of the job.
What’s the oldest person you’ve inked?
Somewhere around 80. Respect to the OGs still getting tatted up.
Would you tattoo anything?
It really depends on the context. If it fits my style, then sure.
Even, like… a whole penis?
I’m not a prostitute, man! [laughs]

Okay but what if I drop a million złoty on the table?
Show me the money first and we’ll talk!
Will AI take over tattooing?
Not likely. Design-wise, yeah — AI is already helping. But it’s never perfect, and you still need an artist to bring it to life. Human touch is everything.
Can you do a full sleeve in a day at Inktoriam?
I wouldn’t want to. The more time you spend, the better the result. A sleeve’s a big deal — I usually spread it out over 3 to 4 months. You gotta get it right.

Most painful place to get tattooed?
Anywhere with bones or joints — elbows, knees, ribs. That stuff hits different.
Ever had a client cry during a session?
Plenty of times! It happens.
Your girlfriend ever get jealous when you’re tattooing half-naked women all day?
Hahaha Not at all. It’s like asking if a surgeon’s wife minds him operating on women. This is work. 100% focus or you risk messing up.
Does she get free tattoos from you though?
She doesn’t even want them from me — my style doesn’t match what she’s into!
Are there quality levels in tattoo ink?
Absolutely. And we at Inktoriam only use the best. There are studios out there saving money by using cheap ink — not cool.

Have you ever tattooed yourself?
Yeah, a few times. It’s a weird flex but a true one.
Should studios be licensed?
Without a doubt. Right now, anyone can open up and start tattooing skin. That’s wild when you think about it.
What if someone doesn’t pay after getting tattooed?
Hasn’t happened yet… but if it does, I’ll let you know how it plays out [laughs].
Word on the street is some studios in Poznań charge only 600 PLN for a full-day session. Thoughts?
600? Nah, they’re definitely cutting corners — cheap equipment, bad ink. I wouldn’t trust it. There’s no price tag on your health.

Wanna see what Igor can cook up for your next piece? Whether it’s your first tat or you’re planning your next sleeve, drop by Długa 10 in the Old Town or shoot them a DM on Insta @inktoriam. Consultations are chill, pressure-free, and the vibe is 100% pro.
This ain’t fast food. This is tattoo art.
