We’re back on the hunt again. The great Poznań hairdresser treasure trail continues, and this time we wanted something different — not just scissors and small talk. We wanted specialisation. Mastery. A true connoisseur of a specific hair game. Think less “we do it all” and more “we own this one thing.”

So we ditched the high streets, dodged the influencers, and wandered into Poznań’s lesser-known backstreets like undercover hair scouts. The things we do for our readers (seriously, where’s our medal?). That’s when we stumbled across Happy Curls on pl. Władysława Andersa 3 Yeah, the name kinda gives it away. And yup — these guys are curl whisperers.

Curls?

Let’s get one thing straight (lol): curly-haired people have it rough. You book a cut, explain your texture, and suddenly some clueless stylist pulls out a straightening iron like they’re defusing a bomb.

Not at Happy Curls. These folks live and breathe curls — no flattening, no guessing, no “let’s just thin it out a bit” nonsense. They get the curl struggle. And they don’t just tolerate your texture — they celebrate it.

The Curl Queen

The brains and bouncy hair behind Happy Curls is Daria, a powerhouse with naturally curly, light-blonde hair and the persistence of a thousand detangling brushes. Growing up in Belarus, she didn’t just have curls — she fought to understand them. And when her parents pushed university over hairdressing, Daria didn’t fold. She trained herself like a kung-fu student of hair — reading books (remember those?), taking international courses, and literally becoming the expert she needed as a kid.

Now? She runs two salons – one in Poznań, one in Warsaw – and she’s built a curl-first empire that doesn’t mess around.

More Than Just Scissors

Happy Curls isn’t some trendy Instagram salon with ring lights and empty promises. It’s more like a science lab for hair.

They work with international products like Innersense, Giovanni, Mielle, and Flora\&Curl, plus loads of niche Polish brands you won’t find in your average Rossmann haul. Their team customizes your routine like a DJ spinning a set just for your scalp.

What we loved? The whole squad is trained under Daria herself. Every client photo, every bit of feedback, every new technique – she checks it. And she doesn’t train outsiders – not because she’s gatekeeping, but because true curl mastery takes time, care, and about 100 deep-dives into ingredient labels.

Our Verdict?

We haven’t booked a treatment yet (we’re lining that up — stay tuned ), but the reviews are glowing, the passion is off the charts, and honestly… the curls we saw walking out the door were bouncing with happiness.
