We caught up with Krystyna Nowicka, the mastermind behind this top-tier relaxation haven, to get the scoop.
Hey Krystyna! When did archipelag PIEKNA open its doors?
We opened in July 2021.
I heard this place was purpose-built for the spa?
Yep, I’m a perfectionist, so it had to be exactly how I wanted it.
What’s your profession?
I’m a psychologist.
Are you analyzing me right now? Haha!
Haha, not on purpose. It’s just instinct!
Why the career switch to a day spa owner?
Originally, I was thinking of opening a beauty salon because I was a regular at one. I became friends with Alicja, one of the staff there, and she helped me evolve the idea into a day spa. She’s been with me from the start and is a key part of the archipelag PIEKNA success.
Why Baranowo?
I fell in love with the spot and the views. My vision was clear from that point.
How often do you use your own services?
Haha, not as often as I could or should. I might have a Thai massage or a Kobido once in a while. The only regular service I use is a manicure and pedicure.
Do you have more male or female clients?
About 80% are women. We also get a lot of couples, mothers with daughters, and groups of friends.
What’s your most popular service?
Thai massage is always a hit. Our clients keep coming back for our Thai masseuse, Pi-on. The Lomi Lomi massage is also very popular. In warmer months, our acoustic treatments for firming and buttock lifts are a big draw also.
What’s your most exclusive package?
The reVITAlife exclusive, ranging from 3200-3770 PLN, is a holistic invigorating treatment. For high-tech treatments, our radio frequency face lift and wrinkle ironing is around 5000 PLN.
Will I notice a difference after one treatment?
For sure! Our machines are top-notch, and the effects are noticeable immediately!
Tell us about your Dermapen micro-needling.
It rebuilds your skin structure, helping to get rid of scars and skin marks.
Do you offer vouchers?
Of course. Many customers buy them for their loved ones. They last for a year.
Any future plans?
The current building was completed in 4 months, but we still have unfinished spaces. I plan to add a chill zone and a larger massage area with spectacular views.
I have to ask. As a psychologist, have you been analyzing me this whole time? Is there something wrong with me? Haha!
Haha, we can set up a consultation if you want, but I’m not cheap!
Any regrets about changing careers?
None at all. It’s one of the best things I ever did. I’ve made some mistakes along the way, but I’m always learning and introducing new services. I listen a lot to what the clients tell us.
