Cherry Bomb Nights: The Inside Scoop on Pijana Wisnia in Poznan

When it comes to kicking off a night out in the Old Town with friends in Poznań, Pijana Wisnia—aka “Drunk Cherry”—is the place to be. Originating from Lviv in 2015, this bar serves up the most incredible cherry liqueur, thanks to a secret recipe that’s become legendary. We caught up with Stan, the head of marketing in Poland, to get the lowdown on this one-of-a-kind spot. Trust us, you’ll want to hear what he has to say.

Q: Hey Stan! Thanks for sitting down with us. What’s your gig at Pijana Wisnia?

Stan: I run the marketing operations here in Poland.

Q: So, is Pijana Wisnia a Ukrainian thing?

Stan: Absolutely. It all started in Ukraine and then spread out to other countries in 2017. Warsaw was our first stop in Poland.

Q: How strong is this cherry magic?

Stan: Our cherry liqueur packs a punch at 17.5%. It’s smooth, easy to sip, and gives you a nice buzz pretty quickly. It’s got this sweet and tangy kick that’s super addictive.

Q: Should we drink it cold?

Stan: You can have it hot or cold—just tell the bar staff how you like it.

Q: What’s the price tag?

Stan: Prices range from 100 ml for 14.9 PLN to 300 ml for 44.7 PLN.

Q: What’s the crowd favorite?

Stan: Definitely the 150 ml glass, packed to the brim with cherries. Pro tip: slurp the top to get all the flavor.

Q: Got a squad with me. What should we get?

Stan: Start with a 1L bottle for 150 PLN. It’s fun because you get to pour your own drinks and add as many cherries as you want.

Q: I’m obsessed with cherries. Can I get extra?

Stan: For sure. But there’s a twist—you’ll need to answer a tricky question or do something fun like a little dance or sing a song. It’s all part of the experience!

The glasses look expensive! Do people try to steal them?

The liqueur is top level so we want to serve it in a glass to match! Some people walk away with the glass but im sure its by accident 😉 Don’t worry, our bar staff are well trained in catching people stealing our glasses hahaha

Q: No chairs here. What’s up with that?

Stan: Ever notice how people just zone out on their phones when they sit? We want people to actually interact and have a good time, and standing at the bar or tables helps make that happen. It really brings out the social vibe!

Q: Do all Pijana Wisnia spots look the same?

Stan: Pretty much. We’ve got our own designers and build all our interiors in-house. There are small changes in each place but the vibe is the same for sure.

Q: Every time I’m at Pijana Wisnia, it’s packed with stunning girls. Who’s hotter, Polish or Ukrainian girls?

Stan: Hahaha, my girlfriend’s Ukrainian, so I gotta say Ukrainian girls!

Q: It’s been a blast, Stan. When can we drop by?

Stan: We’re open from 12:00 PM to at least 01:00 AM, so no excuses—come join the fun!

Get ready for a night of killer cherry liqueur, awesome vibes, and a whole lot of fun. Head over to Pijana Wisnia at Stary Rynek 66 and see what all the hype is about! 🍒✨
