You asked. We answered
Because that’s what we do here at Poznań Daily — carry the burden of your burning questions like the warriors of Warta we are.
This week? We went on a noble quest. Not for kebabs, not for underground tattoo parlours… but for a children’s hairdresser. Yes. That magical unicorn of a place that doesn’t feel like a Soviet dentist’s office and where your kid doesn’t immediately scream bloody murder at the sight of scissors.
Enter: Lolo Manolo
Sielska 17, Górczyn
Now, we’ve always wondered — why aren’t there more places like this in Poznań? A place where kids actually want to get their haircut, parents can also get their own glow up and breathe, and chaos is kept to a minimum. Lolo Manolo isn’t just a hair salon. It’s a vibe. A whole lifestyle. Honestly? It might be the most fun you’ll have while watching someone snip hair off your child’s head.

There’s even a playground, people. And here’s the kicker — you can host your kid’s birthday party there. Yup. Cake, glitter, party games, and a fade. All in one go. That’s what we call efficient parenting, baby.
“What Makes It So Special?”
We’re glad you asked (even if you didn’t).
Instead of boring old salon chairs, your child sits in… mini cars. Like legit, tiny vehicles. BMWs for toddlers. Lambos for littl’uns. And in front of every seat? A TV. To stream whatever they want. Probably Peppa Pig. But if your child happens to be watching “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” maybe have a quick chat.

The place is run by Ola, who started it back in 2013. Apparently, her classmates used to call her “Ola Manola” in school — and that nickname stuck like chewing gum on the underside of a school bench. So she flipped it into Lolo Manolo, and now it’s a brand that’s as iconic as it is adorable.

The Party Breakdown
They throw themed birthday parties that would make Disneyland sweat:
Timing:
Saturdays at 16:30
Sundays at 11:00, 14:00, 17:00
Each party lasts 2 hours
Staffing:
2 animators for 7–18 kids
1 animator for 4–6 kids
No parents allowed. That’s right. You drop them off, then go get a coffee and pretend you’re 23 again.

Packages:
699 PLN for 7–12 kids
599 PLN for 4–6 kids
Add-ons: Lactose-free party? 100 PLN. Custom theme? 150 PLN. Gluten-free? 100 PLN. Barbie-themed Fortnite cosplay with a side of fruit? Probably doable. 😅

Cake:
90 PLN for a cake with your kid’s face on it (not kidding).
Flavours? Raspberry, strawberry, chocolate or multi-fruit. Multifruit feels chaotic. We respect it.
For the Girls
They start in the salon with makeup, nails, curls and sparkly hairspray.
Then there’s cake time, creative games, and a full-on fashion show with a red carpet and glitter heels.
Themes include:
For the Boys (or anyone who’d rather be Batman than Barbie)
It’s swords, superhero quizzes, sack races, magical mohawks and — of course — wild hair makeovers.
Themes include Avengers, Pirates & Princesses, Ninjago, Cowboys vs. Apaches, Transformers, Harry Potter

Teen Special: The Glamour Party
For the older crowd (14–18), there’s a Glam Party — no animators, just pro hair, makeup, mani-pedis and jewellery-making like you’re starring in a Polish version of Mean Girls.
800 PLN. 8–10 teens. 2 hours. And yes, it’s as fabulous as it sounds.
“Wait… this is real??”
We thought the same. We even checked the calendar to make sure it wasn’t April Fools’. But Ola runs a tight ship — and apparently she’s booked solid. If your kid’s hair looks like a haystack or you’re trying to throw a birthday bash that’ll make other parents whisper “damn, they really went all out,” then this is your place.

So whether your kid needs a haircut, a party, or both at the same time — Lolo Manolo is the stuff of parenting dreams. Or nightmares. But the glitter kind.
Now go book. Before all the Barbie-Pirate-Cowboy slots are gone.
