Warm Up Your Evenings at Fuzz: Indulge in Unique Sub-Style Sandwiches and Handcrafted Mulled Wine!

Fuzz located in the Old Town on Szyperska 2, stands out as a versatile destination, seamlessly blending the elements of a Gastro Pub, bistro, and coffee shop. Infused with an underground rock ambiance, a touch of psychedelia, and electronic DJ sets, it has solidified its place as one of Poznan’s premier spots for leisure. Our encounter with owner Jędrek provided deeper insights into the distinctive charm of Fuzz—easily identified by his unmistakable mustache!

Hello, Jedryk. We’re big fans of your establishment. What inspired the name Fuzz?

My brother and I, both musicians, aimed to merge our passions. Fuzz, in the music realm, refers to a guitar effect that clips the signal, producing a unique square waveform and the characteristic fuzzy sound we all love. Our logo is, in fact, a representation of this soundwave.

So, live music?

While we don’t have live performances, our Fridays are filled with DJ sets downstairs, primarily featuring electronic music. We also host vinyl nights a few times a month. Behind the bar, we groove to underground rock with a psychedelic twist.

Tell us about your drink selection.

We take a unique approach, serving beers in quaint 300 ml glasses. On tap, you’ll find Czech lagers like Holbart and Litovel, a delightful wheat beer. Additionally, we offer 7 or 8 intriguing bottled options.

The sub-style sandwiches caught our eye.

Absolutely. Presently, we feature the vegan Amba for 25/35 PLN, boasting grated carrot, and the Italiano Vero—a tribute to the best of Italy, featuring meats, cheeses, vegetables, olives, and balsamic. Don’t miss the Thursday special: a popular shrimp sub.

And hot drinks?

During the colder months, we offer white Mulled wine for 20 PLN. I prepare it from scratch, infusing it with spices like rosemary, cinnamon, cardamom, and a hint of ginger, with honey adding a delightful finishing touch.

Sounds enticing! The vibe at Fuzz is fantastic, and we’ll certainly be recommending it to our readers.
