They found coins worth millions. What would you do?

Yo Poznan!

Yo, this story’s wild. So these history nerds from the Denar crew roll up to a forest near Poznan, right? Their mission? Find some old WWII V2 rocket wreckage. But guess what? The universe had other plans.

Instead of rocket parts, they hit the motherload — not once, but twice.

First pot? Buried just under the dirt, and packed with over 600 ancient goodies — Mieszko II coins, silver bling, and rare cash from Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, England — basically the OG world currency. These babies date back nearly 900 years. Real medieval drip.

Then, boom! A few days later, they find another pot. This one’s made from some weird ceramic nobody’s ever seen around here. What’s inside? Nobody knows yet — archaeologists gotta do their scans first. Could be another fortune, could be some old medieval snacks. Who knows?

Denar’s boss guy, Przemysław Kurowiak, calls it “like winning the lottery twice.” And with silver coins alone, we’re talkin’ a cool million złoty or more — maybe enough to buy a small island or at least a couple dozen pierogis.

Now here’s the kicker: what’s gonna happen with the loot? Are these guys gonna hand it over to the history police? Or are they gonna cash in and live like kings? Poland’s got laws about this kinda stuff, but nobody’s spilled the tea on their game plan yet.

Either way, the Polish Academy of Sciences just took over the scene — looks like they found an unknown medieval hangout. So big ups to Denar, who usually digs up WWII junk but just went full Indiana Jones on us.

So what would you do? Turn it in, flip it on the black market, or stash it for the ‘Gram flex?
