The Track
As the chill of winter fades and the sun graces us with its presence, it’s time to embrace the adrenaline-pumping world of motorsports. Poznań boasts Poland’s premier racing circuit—Tor Poznań—a gem that many locals and expats have yet to discover. Spanning 4.083 kilometers with 14 challenging turns, this track has been the heart of Polish racing since its inauguration in 1977.
Sport Drive
Beyond hosting professional events, Tor Poznań is home to Sport Drive, a team dedicated to immersing enthusiasts into the racing realm and giving us a taste of what its like to be a racing driver. Led by the seasoned Tomasz Płaczek, founder and driving instructor since 1992 and a Polish Champion in both rally and racing disciplines, Sport Drive offers unparalleled expertise.
The Crew
Katarzyna Sakowska
A racing and rally driver, Polish Champion 2021 in car races, and car sport instructor. She conducts training in both Polish and English, specializing in individual and group sports training.
Tomasz Płaczek Jr.
A driving instructor with extensive experience, trained at Test & Training International. He offers training in Polish and English, focusing on individual and group sports training, as well as safe driving.
Piotr Filipiak
With decades in motorsport, Piotr holds a racing license and has vast experience in organizing events and training across various industries. He’s passionate about mentoring young drivers and supports them through programs like the PZM’s “Safest Young Driver.”
Martyna Kabza
A rally driver and motorsport enthusiast since childhood, Martyna plays a pivotal role in training sessions and event organization, ensuring seamless experiences for all participants.
