Poznan Daily goes suburban and Lubon’s bringin the heat!

The Suburbs

Yo Poznań! You already know we ride for the city’s foodie scene — but lately, we’ve been hearing whispers that the real flavor isn’t just in Jeżyce, Wilda or Łazarz. Nope. Turns out the suburbs are quietly cookin’ up a storm — and we just found proof.

This week, we took the trip down to Luboń — yep, Luboń — and stumbled across a spot that made us stop in our tracks: Przyjaźń (aka “Friendship”). The name’s humble, but trust us, this place hits HARD.

Four Friends

Behind it? A squad of four friends who’ve done their time in some of Poznań’s dopest kitchens. Now they’ve flipped the script and dropped their own joint, right here in Luboń — opened on October 20th, 2024, and already changing the game.

We popped in and got lucky enough to catch co-founder Adam in the flesh — the dude runs their socials, but also wears like five other hats, including hype man and host. He gave us the lowdown, and trust — these guys aren’t playing around.

THE CREW

Patryk

Runs the kitchen like a boss.

Natalia?

Cake queen status.

Martyna

Keeps the gears turning and the budget tight.

Adam

The all-rounder with the stories and the flavor talk.

The Chow

We kicked things off with their Silesian dumplings with sugar snap peas, creamy sauce, lemon zest, mint, and bacon bring a modern twist to a traditional Polish favorite. Total banger.

Next? Their Grilled asparagus with burrata, truffle shallots, and crunchy pistachios. Light, luxe, and chef’s kiss. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite like, “Wait, what is this?!”

Still hungry? Slide into the Spring Caesar Salad — but forget what you know. This version is stacked with grilled chicken thigh, sugar snap peas, and a bacon-chive sauce that deserves its own spotlight.

COMPOTE CULTURE
And yo, no Polish kitchen is legit without kompot — and Przyjaźń’s rhubarb & strawberry version is delicious. Tart meets sweet with a little tang and a hint of sunshine-in-a-glass. Refreshing AF.

SAVE ROOM FOR THIS
Last but not least, let’s talk about that cheesecake. Their pistachio cheesecake has already hit local cult status. Creamy, salty-sweet, and straight-up gorgeous. Locals are pulling up just to grab a slice and dip.

Wrapping Up

So here’s the deal: Luboń’s leveling up, and restaurants in central Poznań better start paying attention. Whether you’re local or just down to try something new, Przyjaźń is worth the trip.
