Her Students Don’t Just Swim — They Breathe Like Athletes

Back into the Deep End

Alright, you already know the drill — here at Poznań Daily we’re on a never-ending quest to track down the city’s dopest instructors. We’ve flexed with boxing coaches, bent ourselves like pretzels in yoga classes, and now, as the sun’s been cooking us alive, we’re cannonballing straight back into the deep end. Yep, it’s swim time again, baby. And this week, we struck liquid gold.

Enter Agnieszka, our new aquatic hero. She’s not just another instructor doing laps — she’s the coach behind the coaches. If you’re learning to swim in Poznań, odds are your teacher learned from her.

The Backstory

We caught up for a chat (poolside, of course) and her story is something else. Agnieszka’s been in love with swimming since she was 9 — and she wasn’t just paddling around for fun. Homegirl grabbed two bronze medals at the Polish Championships and later crushed the triathlon scene too. But at 18, health issues forced her to hang up the goggles on her competitive career. Most people would’ve tapped out there — but not Agnieszka. She flipped the script and became a trainer, determined to teach with the same passion she once competed with.

And let’s be clear — this ain’t your average swim class. Agnieszka’s lessons are like Iron Man-level tech meets heart-of-gold vibes. She’s got underwater comms gear (yep, she talks to you while you swim), plus video analysis so you can see your moves and spot the errors faster than your high school gym teacher ever could.

Certified

She’s also one of only 18 people in Poland certified in a specialty course on breathing pathologies in swimming. Translation: if your lungs freak out in the water or you’re gasping after every lap, she’ll get you breathing like a dolphin in no time.

Not Just a Job

But what really hit us in the feels? Her vibe. Lessons with Agnieszka feel like hanging with your favorite cousin who also happens to be a biomechanics nerd and motivational guru rolled into one. She teaches kids, adults, and families together — and knows how to connect, especially with kids on the spectrum. Teaching isn’t just a job for her, it’s a full-on calling.

She’s 28 and been teaching for 10 years, which basically makes her a swimming oracle in our books. She sums it up like this: “I teach the way I would like to be taught. Lessons with big heart.”

Wrapping Up

So whether you’re looking to finally ditch the doggy paddle, breathe like a pro, or just not flail around at your next lakeside date, Agnieszka is the name to remember. We’ve already booked our session. See you at the pool — or we’ll be the ones watching enviously from the shallow end.

PRICES:
130 PLN – One-on-one lesson
170 PLN – Lesson for two
