Hitting up the growing number of seedbanks and headshops popping up all over. We caught up with Lenny, the mastermind behind his CBD shop in Poznan Indorshop on Kwiatowa 13 in Poznań, to get the lowdown on what’s on offer.

Hi Lenny. What is a seed bank?

It’s a place where you can buy marijuana seeds for collecting. You are not allowed to use them though to grow plants.

Don’t you think people buy seeds from you to grow plants at home?

What they do is not my business.

And you?

Hahaha. No way! Being an owner of such a shop I get unexpected visits by law enforcement at my home to check on me. They have been 2 times already!

So maybe you grow them somewhere else?

hahaha. No. I’m a legitimate businessman.

How many different types of seeds do you sell?

Right now about 213 different strains.

What’s the difference?

There are 3 main groups. Indica which is for chilling. Sativa which is to get a high and Ruderalis which is mostly mixed with the other two.

How old are most of your clients?

I would say 20-30 is the biggest group.

Educate me. How long does it take for a plant to flower?

About 3 months.

Tell me about the stuff you sell that we can legally buy.

Sure. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the cannabis plant. It’s a naturally occurring substance that’s used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm.

So you’re saying CBD won’t get me high?

Nope. The cannabis plant is made up of two main players: CBD and THC. CBD is the non-psychoactive portion of the plant, so what that means is you won’t have any effects like euphoria but rather a relaxing effect.

Between 20-60PLN per gram

Sure. We sell CBD oils for vapors!

Do you think cannabis has medicinal value?

Of course. For example, we also sell cannabis oil. I can tell you that I know people with cancer who have told me they have been cured with this stuff. It’s expensive but for some people, I believe it really helps.
