Yo, Poznan! We’ve been getting hit up non-stop for catering recommendations, and Cosmos Catering kept coming up. We heard the buzz, so we had to slide in and see what all the fuss was about. We hit up the glamorous Patrycja, the woman behind the operation, to get the scoop on what she’s serving up. And you know what? We’re about to put her to the test ourselves.

Patrycja’s Story

Cosmos Catering may have kicked off in July 2023, but Patrycja’s been cooking up this idea in her head for years. “It was a couple of years in the making,” she says. “I just needed the right moment—when the kids were old enough, that’s when I knew it was time.”

Before diving into catering, Patrycja had a whole 12-year run in the fashion biz. “I got burned out,” she admits. “But cooking? That’s what I was always meant to do.” And now, she’s here, feeding the people and making her dream a reality. Her travels have brought a whole new vibe to her cooking, mixing up bold flavors and fresh techniques from all over. Every dish she serves is a little taste of something unexpected, keeping your taste buds on their toes.

A Love for Cooking

Patrycja’s passion for food runs deep. “I’ve always loved cooking for my friends and family. My house is always open, always full of people, always full of noise,” she says. Growing up in a big family, she’s no stranger to cooking for a crowd. But it wasn’t until she decided to make the switch from fashion to food that things really started cooking.

She even had a run on MasterChef at 22, though she laughs about how little she knew about cooking back then. “I didn’t really know what I was doing, but it was fun!” Now, she’s putting that passion into her catering, and people are taking notice.

We’re Putting Her to the Test

We’ll be ordering a couple of themed catering boxes to really put Patrycja to the test. What kind of vibes are we looking for? Well, we’re still figuring that out, but we’re thinking something along the lines of a “Middle Eastern Magic” box woth a mix of lamb koftes, shawarma, tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, and warm pita, spiced just right for a flavor-packed party box. Or, maybe a Plant-Powered Box spread with things like veggie burgers, falafel, quinoa salads, roasted vegetables, and coconut-based desserts for the ultimate plant lover’s spread. Got any ideas?
