BUTTA LA PASTA – Worth The Wait? You’ll either love it or not

There are some places in Jeżyce that you keep saying you’ll try… and somehow never do.Then one day—you finally pull up—and immediately think: “Yeah… why did I wait this long?” That was us with Butta La Pasta on Słowackiego 16.

Owned by Karolina and her husband Wojtek, they’ve been running this spot since 2021—and let’s be honest, surviving that long in Jeżyce? That’s not luck. That’s discipline. That’s people coming back.

Also… 4.6 on Google and 5 on TripAdvisor??
That’s not normal. That’s suspiciously good.

Small Inside

We rolled up on a sunny day, just before sunset. Outside table secured immediately—because if the weather’s behaving, you don’t fumble that.

Inside? Already getting packed.

And yeah—it’s a small place. But that’s the vibe right now.

Let’s Talk About The Interior

Now let’s keep it real.

This isn’t one of those ultra-modern pizzerias where someone clearly spent half a million on lighting alone and another half on chairs that look like art installations.

Butt La Pasta is more… personal.

It feels lived in. A bit unpolished.

And honestly?
You’ll either like it… or you won’t.

There’s no middle ground here.

Some people want that clean, minimalist, Instagram-perfect setup.

Others walk in here and think:
“Yeah… this feels real.”

And that’s kind of the whole point.

The Pizza Situation

Alright… I may have overdone it.

I ordered three pizzas.

No, I didn’t eat them all.
My stomach is currently preparing a formal complaint as beach season gets closer. Couple slices of each… rest went back to the office. Teamwork.

Pistacchio – 41 PLN

Poznań is going through a full pistachio phase right now. It’s everywhere.

But this one earns its spot.

Tomato base, pistachios, rosemary, red onion,
Nutty, slightly sweet, herby, balanced with that acidic tomato base. It’s bold without being messy. Could have been a few more pistaccio’s for my liking.

Rusticca – 46 PLN

Comfort food, but make it serious.

San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, spicy salame, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, rocket. You’ve got spice hitting first, sweetness right after, garlic doing its usual magic, the cheese kept everything smooth and the rocket cleaned it all up at the end

Solid. No complaints.

Margherita – 30 PLN

This is where you separate good from average.

No hiding. No distractions.

If the dough’s off—you know.
If the sauce isn’t right—you know.

And here?

One of the better Margheritas I’ve had recently.
Balanced, clean, properly baked.

And for 30 PLN—yeah, that’s a win.

Lavender Lemonade – 14 PLN

Light, refreshing, slightly floral but not overpowering. Perfect for sitting outside pretending you didn’t just order three pizzas.

Let’s Keep It 100

If you’re a Neapolitan pizza purist, there are spots in Poznań that go deeper into that category—super technical, ultra-authentic, pushing the craft to another level.

But…

Perfect ratings don’t lie.

Butt La Pasta isn’t trying to be the most “textbook” Neapolitan spot.

It’s trying to be a place people actually enjoy coming back to.

And judging by those ratings… it’s working, so who am I to say different.

On a side note…

We’ve also heard they might be bringing pizzas over to Fancy on Wrocławska. If that happens… yeah, that’s going to shake things up.

Final Word

If you’re in Jeżyce—especially with warmer days coming—just go. Small garden. Real vibe. No overthinking. And somehow, sitting outside on Słowackiego with a pizza and a drink in hand…

Just feels right.
