REVIEW: Zabka’s new pizza service. Game-Changer or Hot Mess?

The Lowdown

Yo, guess what Zabka’s cookin’ up now? Forget the usual hot dogs and disgusting burgers—they’ve got PIZZA now, and for just 11.90 PLN! If you’re a broke student without an oven at home, is this a straight-up lifesaver? Zabka’s already famous for its decent hotdogs (7 PLN on average), but let’s be real, their burgers are straight-up trash. Last time we tried one, we couldn’t even finish it. I mean, we literally had to spit that thing out. So, naturally, we had to see if their pizzas are just as bad or if they actually come through this time. Curiosity got the better of us, so we hit up Polwiejska Street to grab one.

Messy Start

Now, here’s where it gets messy. We had to visit FOUR different Zabka stores ‘cause everywhere was sold out! Either these pizzas are super popular, or they don’t stock many. Your guess is as good as ours. Finally, we found one on Strzelecka Street, but get this—they didn’t have an oven to cook it! Bruh. So, more walking… We ended up at a Zabka on the corner of Polwiejska and Krakowska, right across from Stary Browar. But here’s where things got wild—they refused to heat it up ‘cause I didn’t buy it in their store. Bitch!

No giving up

Anyway, I wasn’t giving up. We hit up another Zabka on Polwiejska (which had no pizzas left) and I straight-up pretended I bought it there. Surprise, surprise, when they scanned the barcode, it worked! Paid another 11.90 (the things we do for y’all), and finally, they agreed to bake it. Waited for three minutes, and it’s ready—or so I thought. The staff pulled the pizza out, placed it behind the counter to get cold, and went back to serving a long line of customers. I had to ask her nicely to hand over my pizza before it turned into a cold slab of bread, and let’s just say she wasn’t happy about it.

The Verdict

Now for the numbers: this baby packs 1,042 calories and 8.9g of fat. But here’s the twist: the pizza wasn’t bad. Like, I was so ready to roast it, but if I’m being real—it’s decent for 11.90 PLN. If a hot dog is around 7 PLN, this pizza is seriously good value.

It was a bit bready, which I’m down for, and the crusts were actually edible. The pepperoni was stacked, and the cheese wasn’t some sad plastic either. Shocked? Yeah, me too. Look, there are better frozen pizzas out there, but if you’re lookin’ for a cheap, quick meal and need it heated up for you, Zabka’s pizza is actually a solid choice.

For the first time ever, we’re giving Zabka a thumbs-up on this one. If you havent got an oven at home or want a cheap pizza on the go, try it out—just don’t expect gourmet. It’s 11.90 and baked in-store.
