We’re back at it, fam — asking real questions to some of Poznan’s stars! We linked up again with the man behind Trenuk i Kop and the muscles, Łukasz — certified machine, kickboxing coach, and judge for the Polish Kickboxing Association. We came for the interview, stayed for the free intimidation workout. This guy’s got fists like bricks and a sense of humor just as sharp. But don’t worry — he’s more teddy bear than terminator (we think).

Round 1
Poznan Daily: Łukasz, you’re a judge for kickboxing matches. Ever wanted to hop into the ring mid-fight and show ’em how it’s done?
Łukasz: Hahaha nah, just in case they knock me out. I’d never live it down.
PD: When someone walks into your gym for the first time, what do you clock straight away?
Łukasz: Posture. Tells me everything I need to know. From there, we build the plan.
PD: What’s the biggest mistake people make when training?
Łukasz: Thinking it’s all just weights and cardio. I give them a reality check real fast.

PD: If Trenuj i Kop were a movie genre…
Łukasz: Action comedy. Explosive but fun. You’ll sweat and laugh — sometimes at the same time.
PD: What breaks first: the mind or the body?
Łukasz: Mind, always. That’s why mindset is everything here.
PD: Go-to workout music?
Łukasz: Drum & Bass or British grime. Gets the blood pumping.
PD: Ever been knocked out?
Łukasz: Once — in training. I left the gym all dazed, walked around for an hour with an empty gym bag like a zombie. It was weirdly peaceful.
PD: Ever get cocky newcomers with big mouths?
Łukasz: Hahaha all the time. But don’t worry — I shut ‘em up quick.

PD: Could you kill me in under 10 seconds?
Łukasz: Sure. Head kick, then a choke. Done.
PD: 😅 Cool cool cool.
PD: What’s one thing people wouldn’t expect about you?
Łukasz: I love gardening. Like, really love it.
PD: Do you still train on your days off?
Łukasz: Minimum an hour, even if it’s light.
PD: Most painful loss?
Łukasz: A Class B fight in Holland. Took so many leg kicks I couldn’t walk for two weeks. Felt like a tree getting chopped down.
PD: Can you tell if someone’s gonna be good just by looking?
Łukasz: I can usually tell in warm-up. Then I tweak the session based on that.

PD: Your gym gets a signature cocktail. What’s it called, what’s in it?
Łukasz: Chainsaw. Double vodka, splash of lime, maybe some Red Bull. You’ll cry and then ask for another.
PD: Guilty pleasure post-workout?
Łukasz: Pizza. No shame.
PD: Let’s say you’re walking down the street with your girl. Someone disrespects her. What’s the move?
Łukasz: Walk away… unless they touch her. Then it’s lights out.
PD: Be honest. Can a woman knock you out?
Łukasz: Hahaha a big one? For sure. No shame in that!

PD: I’m 100kg. Can you help me drop 20kg in 3 months?
Łukasz: If you train 3-4 times a week and follow a proper diet? 100% yes.
PD: Anything you’re especially proud of?
Łukasz: I’m part of the Global System Pattern Group in Poland. It’s a holistic training system — blends physical and mental conditioning. I use it in the gym, and it’s especially powerful for women.

PD: Does being a kickboxer attract the ladies?
Łukasz: I’ve got a girl already, so I wouldn’t know… officially. 😉
PD: Can I use the spa and pool if I train with you?

PD: How much to train with the legend himself?
Łukasz: 200 PLN for a single session. But it’s cheaper with a package. Worth it.

Łukasz: Pffft, probably my gloves. I’d punch coconuts for cardio.
