Poznań, listen up.
International Women’s Day is coming, and instead of another predictable brunch with Prosecco selfies, our favorite matcha temple is doing something way more elevated.
Inside the beautiful space of Kyōei Sanraku Matcha House (yes, the matcha spot we always recommend when your nervous system needs a hug) and together with Korzenie, they’re hosting an ikebana workshop, the Japanese art of flower arranging. But not the grandma version. This is Sōgetsu school energy: contemporary, minimal, meditative.

Ikebana isn’t about stuffing flowers into a vase and hoping for the best. It’s about line. Space. Balance. Breathing. It’s basically therapy, but with plants.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need “talent.” You just need to show up and slow down. During the 1.5-hour session, you’ll learn the basics of ikebana in the Sōgetsu spirit, see plants differently (think structure, not bouquet), and create your own simple arrangement while your brain finally stops doom-scrolling.

Bring your own bowl or vessel if you’ve got one. If not, you can grab original ceramics on-site. They’ll provide a kenzan (that spiky metal base that holds everything in place), and yes, you take it home with your arrangement. March 8, 2026 | 10:00 AM

Spots are limited and knowing this city, they’ll disappear fast. Matcha, flowers, mindful chaos — this is how you celebrate Women’s Day with style.
