Young woman brutally murdered in Jezyce with her child in the next room!

Jezyce

Jeżyce, one of Poznań’s liveliest districts, turned into the scene of a real-life nightmare on Friday, July 11. A 26-year-old woman was brutally murdered in an apartment. Her nearly 2-year-old son was in the next room.

Police confirmed the murder just days later—and the details are chilling.

The alleged killer? Her 37-year-old ex-partner—also the father of the child—who had a restraining order and wasn’t even allowed to contact her.

“He walked into the Jeżyce police station at 3 p.m. on Friday and said he probably killed his ex,” said Deputy Inspector Łukasz Paterski of Poznań Police. Officers rushed to the scene. What they found was straight out of a horror movie.

The woman’s lifeless body was lying on the floor, covered in blood. She had suffered multiple stab wounds. The apartment was locked. Police found a knife at the scene—believed to be the murder weapon. The 26-year-old mother never stood a chance.

The suspect was arrested immediately. According to police, he has been charged with murder with particular cruelty and is now in pre-trial detention for three months.

But what led to this tragic murder?

Preliminary findings paint a grim picture. The woman had a speech therapy appointment for their son on Friday. She informed the 37-year-old father about it—even though he legally couldn’t have any contact with her. After the appointment, they went to his apartment (strange seeing as she had an injunction against him). There, things escalated into a deadly argument.

After committing the murder, he reportedly took the toddler to his parents and confessed what he had done. His own father then brought him to the police.

And yes—the little boy, under 2 years old, was in the apartment during the killing. Police confirmed he was in another room at the time, but still—he was there.

The court will decide what happens next. For now, one thing is certain—a young woman is gone, a child is without a mother and father. Poor kid!

Rest in peace.
