Yo Poznan
At Poznań Daily, we’re always on the hunt. Not for clout. Not for the next overhyped TikTok spot in Old Town. Nah, we’re on the eternal quest for that “something special”. You know what we mean — the kind of spot you find by accident, but it feels like fate.
So, we decided to shake things up and hop on a tram heading outta town. Destination? Somewhere in the direction of Starołęka. But fate had other plans.
Out the tram window, something caught our eye. A total oasis. Trees. Calm. A little garden that just hit different. In the middle of 33°C heat, we yeeted off the tram at the next stop, doubled back a couple hundred sweaty meters, and landed at os. Rzeczypospolitej 20a — where we met our newest obsession: Yeti Pizza.

We hadn’t even tasted the food yet, but vibes don’t lie. That garden? Shaded by real trees — not those giant umbrellas that flap around like stressed-out birds. It felt right. Like front-porch-in-an-American-movie energy. You could park yourself there all day, no questions asked.
Inside, we met the owners: Roman and Julia (yes, like the Shakespeare thing, but chill). They own the place — not just run it. And you can feel the difference. Every detail, every word, every pizza… has that real “we give a sh*t” energy.

We got chatting.
Julia, originally from Belarus, landed in Poland in Jan 2022 for work. Roman’s been here since 2020. He was doing construction, she tried everything from Biedronka to beauty salons. But both had that inner fire — the dream to build something of their own.

At first, they tried a low-cost pizza franchise. It sounded sweet — until they realized the franchise owner was completely MIA. Zero support, zero vision. So they cut the cord. Since January 2025, Yeti Pizza is 100% theirs. And yo — that independence shows.
They served us up a small pizza while we were talking with Mozzarella, bacon, kabanos, oscypek (smoked cheese), onion, oregano Was it good? Bruh.
We weren’t even doing a proper review — just vibing — but that slice slapped.

Is it Neapolitan? Hmm. Kinda. Kinda not.
Let’s call it Neapolitan LTE™ — part Neapolitan, part American, fully craveable. None of that giant-crust-left-on-the-plate guilt trip. We actually ate the whole thing. And that’s saying something (we’re on that “maybe I’ll get in shape this summer” journey).
Also — let’s not skip the drinks.
Iced latte with caramel? Cold, creamy perfection.
Milkshake (13 PLN)? Thick, sweet, and worth every zł.

We’re pulling back in a few days for a full, official review, but first impressions? This place smacks. Great people. Chill garden. Tasty pizza. It’s just a few tram stops from Rondo Rataje, and the garden isn’t rammed like the spots in the center.

So yeah — try something new. Slide in before July 7th (2025) and cop your second pizza for 50% off.
Reading this after the 7th?
Well… that’s on you, fam. Better luck next slice.
Get off the tourist circuit.
Don’t be a boring bastad.
Until the full review drops — peace out, pizza fam.
