Hey Poznan!
Poznań women, stay alert. Police are on the hunt for a man accused of violently robbing a woman in broad daylight — and authorities say he may strike again.
The terrifying incident happened on January 21 at around 11:30 a.m. on Jarochowskiego Street, right in a courtyard outside a stairwell. According to investigators from the Poznań-Grunwald Police Station, the perpetrator used force to steal the victim’s wallet, including documents and cash. Surveillance footage caught a clear image of the suspect — and now police are asking the public for help identifying him.

“This man may be dangerous,” police warned. “If you recognize him, or if you think you’ve seen him in the area, contact us immediately.”
While Poznań is generally considered a very safe city, incidents like this remind us that the bad element exists everywhere. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when walking alone or in less crowded areas, and keep your belongings close. Quick public awareness could prevent future attacks.
