Sick!
Authorities are investigating a serious report from a local special education school, where a 16-year-old student with a mild intellectual disability says she experienced inappropriate behavior from a male school employee.
The incident allegedly took place on June 27, the last day of the school year, at the Special Educational and Upbringing Center. According to the student’s mother, the teenager had an argument with a friend and went to the school basement, where she encountered the employee. He reportedly asked the friend to leave and then remained alone with the student.

“She was clearly shaken and distressed,” said the student’s mother, adding that her daughter was later found in the principal’s office feeling unwell.
The police were contacted, although the family reports a delay of over two hours before officers arrived. The girl was taken to hospital shortly after, where she remained under observation.
Employee Suspended While Investigation Continues
The school’s principal confirmed that the staff member in question has been temporarily suspended as a precaution, and that protective procedures — introduced under Poland’s “Kamilka Act” — were put into effect immediately.
“Our internal child safeguarding standards were activated without delay,” the principal stated.
The case is now under review by the District Prosecutor’s Office . Prosecutor Maciej Meler told the press that a special one-time interview with the student, conducted with psychological support, has been planned to prevent emotional distress.
“We are following standard protocol to ensure the young person is protected throughout the process,” Meler confirmed.
Authorities say they will determine next legal steps after reviewing the evidence.
