According to a recent IBRiS survey for Radio ZET, most Poles aren’t buying the idea of swapping the złoty for the euro. Around 72% are against it, while just 20% are on board. Half of the respondents are hardcore “absolutely not” territory.

People are worried about losing their national currency and what it might do to the economy. Among voters of big conservative parties like PiS and Konfederacja, support for the euro is basically zero.
Meanwhile…
Across the border, countries like Bulgaria already jumped on the euro train earlier this year. In Poland, the debate isn’t going anywhere fast — looks like the złoty isn’t going anywhere either.
