Hunting Down the Best Muay Thai Trainer in the City

Yo Poznan!

Alright, fight fans — it’s that time again. The Poznań Daily crew is back in the ring, gloves laced, hunting down the best combat trainers in the city. We’ve already crowned kings of jiu-jitsu, karate, boxing, and kickboxing, and now — by popular demand (and a few DMs that sounded like threats) — it’s time for Muay Thai.

For those who don’t know, Muay Thai is basically Thailand’s national superpower — known as “The Art of Eight Limbs.” That’s fists, elbows, knees, and shins all working together to turn someone into a human percussion instrument. Think of it as ballet, but with bruises.

We dove headfirst into Poznań’s fight scene — asking our current shortlist of trainers, sniffing around online reviews, and getting punched in the face by Google algorithms — until one name stood out: Miko (short for Mikołaj) from MIKO Muay Thai Gym. His rep? Impressive. His reviews? Savage (in the best way). So, naturally, we hit him up for a chat to see what’s up.

The Man Behind the Gloves

Miko hit us with his fight CV, and we’ll be real — it reads like a highlight reel from Street Fighter.
He’s got 15 years of experience as a competitor, nearly a decade as a coach, was Polish Muaythai Vice-Champion in 2019, NOC MMA K1 Champion in 2023, and made his pro debut in Bangkok at the Boxing Warriors Rising Gala in 2016 — that’s basically like dropping your first single in the middle of Coachella.

And if that wasn’t enough, since 2022, Miko’s also been a referee for amateur and professional fights in Muay Thai, K1, and boxing — and since 2024, in MMA too. He’s trained national team fighters, youth champions, and future legends of Polish combat sports. Oh, and he’s a licensed PZ Muaythai trainer since 2023.

Translation? This guy’s the real deal — the kind of dude who probably shadowboxes while waiting for his coffee.

Where Warriors Train

His club — MIKO Muay Thai Gym — isn’t just a place to sweat; it’s a registered sports association, officially recognized by the Poznań Starost (number EKS-159 if you wanna sound official). Founded in 2023, this gym’s already built a rep as one of the city’s most respected and well-rounded fight hubs.

The vibe? Inclusive, real, and no-BS.
They train everyone — from five-year-old kids learning discipline (and scaring their parents) to adults who wanna trade office stress for elbow strikes. Whether you’re aiming to get fit, learn self-defense, or go pro, this is the spot.

And it’s not just Muay Thai — they also offer MMA training with Adrian Stawik, a still-active beast in the cage and champ of the EFN and MMA Night organizations.

How Much?

200 PLN/month for one discipline, or 250 if you’re wild enough to do both Muay Thai and MMA.

If you’re all about that one-on-one grind (aka getting personally owned by Miko before you own anyone), here’s the deal: Single session: 150 PLN. Want to go full ninja? Grab a pack of 10 sessions for 1,200 PLN and hit assassin-level skills faster than you can say ‘roundhouse kick.

If your New Year’s resolution involves doing something cooler than lifting dumbbells while scrolling TikTok — this might just be your calling.

Final Round

We’ve already booked a one-on-one session with Miko to get the inside scoop — expect bruises, sweat, and a full review soon. We’ll also sit down with him for a raw interview about what it takes to master a sport where your knees and elbows are your business cards.

If you can’t wait for our write-up, do yourself a favor — hit him up directly.

And don’t worry — they speak English. So even if your Polish sucks, your punches won’t.

Our Verdict

Miko and his crew have officially joined our shortlist of Best Combat Sports Trainers in Poznań — these guys don’t just teach how to fight; they teach how to carry yourself like you could end a fight (without ever starting one).

See you in the ring, Poznań!
