Embarking on a quest to discover the best kebabs in Poznan, our culinary journey led us to a gem named Habanero on Małeckiego 22 in Lazarz, brought to life by the passionate kebab enthusiast Damian in August 2023. Fueled by the desire for a top-notch kebab experience, Habanero sets itself apart in the premium category.
The establishment boasts a spacious interior with 30 seats, offering a comfortable setting to relish the flavors without worrying about lingering odors. Air-conditioned during the summer months, with excellent ventilation, it ensures a pleasant dining environment. In addition, a charming garden awaits patrons in the summer season.
Open every day from 12 to 11 pm, Habanero prides itself on using high-quality craft meat. Each morning, Damian and the team craft homemade sauces, meticulously prepare vegetables and season them to perfection. Partnering with a local bakery, they source paprika rolls, pita, and lavash from one of Poland’s largest producers, avoiding ready-made solutions—a choice highly appreciated by discerning customers. A standout offering and our favorite is the SeRRRacz kebab, featuring mimmolette cheese, a luscious cheese sauce served with black gloves for a playful, hands-on experience.
For those with a taste for the mountains, the Góral kebab presents grilled oscypek (a Podhale cheese) with sweet cranberries, offering a delightful blend of sweet and salty. We also recommend the Farmer kebab, a hidden gem, that showcases a delicious potato pancake, Swedish cucumber, grilled onions and crispy bacon creating a satisfyingly crunchy combination.
