Yo Poznan!
Poznań Daily fam, you’ve been loving our food reviews lately, and we heard you loud and clear: “Yo, when’s the next Asian piece dropping?” So we went hunting for rolls, bowls, and noodles – and Sushi Kushi Ramen Shop just happened to swing their doors wide open again. Destiny? Maybe. Hunger? Definitely.
Now, Sushi Kushi are already known around the city for fast delivery – fast, organized, efficient. Honestly, we’re convinced their drivers have teleportation powers. But this time, we ditched the couch, grabbed a couple of seats at the bar, and went all in on the vibe.

And listen – Sushi Kushi ain’t just about sushi. Don’t get it twisted. Yeah, they’ve got some killer lunchtime sets (more on that in our next write-up), but the menu is a whole Japanese playground: starters (we call them Japanese tapas), ramen, poke bowls, bao’s, stir fries, and yeah, sushi. We decided to skip the usual suspects and chase something a little different. At least one of them anyway! Three dishes, one surprise winner. Let’s go. First up, some Japanese tea!

First Bite: Poke Panko with Shrimp – 49 PLN
This bowl is a flavor festival – crunchy panko shrimp meeting the freshness of pickled red cabbage, sweet mango vibes, nutty edamame, peppery arugula, and a cheeky mango-jalapeño mayo that gives it just the right kick. Add in radish, carrot strips, scallion sprinkles, sesame seeds, all served on a bed of rice, and you’ve got the kind of dish that makes you forget Poland is 1,000 km away from the nearest ocean. Fresh, colorful, and balanced – a solid opener.

Second Bite: Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Curry Ramen – 46 PLN
Now, this one’s not here to play. Imagine a creamy curry broth, boosted with their in-house habanero paste, filled with handmade ramen noodles, corn, red onion, narutomaki, a nitamago egg, butter, chili oil – and then crowned with crunchy Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Add a skewer of crispy chicken thigh or panko shrimp on top, and you’re basically looking at Japan crashing into an American convenience store snack aisle. It’s bold, it’s messy, it’s fiery. Definitely not for the ramen purists, but if you’re into trying crazy combos and laughing while your taste buds panic a little – this one’s for you. (Pro tip: don’t wear white.)

We also spotted their jug of Aloe – not something you usually see in restaurants. At 25 PLN for a pitcher that easily serves 2–3 people, it’s an absolute steal. My colleague even swears it’s the best she’s ever had, and honestly, after a sip, we get it. Perfect for sharing with a friend or two while you dig into your meal, and it’s so refreshing it almost feels like hitting the reset button between bites.

Third Bite: Sushi Burger – 40 PLN
We couldn’t walk out without tackling this beast. A slightly spicy burger built with rice patties wrapped in nori, fried up in crispy panko, and dotted with roasted peanuts. Fillings come in salmon, tuna, or veggie – we went with the salmon, because, well, classics never die. The trick with sushi burgers is all about that crunchy outside holding together without falling apart, and honestly, this was the best one we’ve ever had. Perfect crisp, creamy avocado, sweet mango, buttery salmon – bite after bite it just worked. Surprising even us, this ended up being the winner of the night.

Final Thoughts
Sushi Kushi isn’t about chasing Michelin stars or serving you the most “authentic ramen in Japan, bro.” Nah – it’s about good vibes, fun flavors, and making Japanese eats exciting for everyone (they even have a kids menu). Inside, it’s all warm wood (izakaya style), an open kitchen with chefs doing their thing right in front of you, a bar where you can grab a seat and watch the action, and just enough neon to remind you we’re living in 2025.
We saw locals – mums, dads, office workers – swinging by to pick up food on their way home, and let’s be real: if the people living nearby keep coming back, that’s the best review you can get.

Over To You
So here’s the move: if you want something different, hit them up – especially that Cheetos ramen if you’ve got a wild streak. And if you’re too lazy to leave the couch (no judgment, we’ve all been there), then just order online and get that salmon sushi burger delivered straight to your door. It’s genius.
