Yo Poznan
You know when you’re just strolling through the Old Town, minding your own business, maybe hunting for a kebab or that one friend who disappeared after the pre-drinks? Yeah, that was us. We weren’t even working — swear down! It was meant to be a chill night off.
But then… it happened.

Somewhere halfway down buzzing Wrocławska Street, we turned into a side road we never really walk down — Gołębia Street. And boom — we were hit in the face with it. RED. Like the whole street was glowing with this devilish neon aura. It stopped us in our tracks. Rock music thumping, the air thick with attitude, and some of the most beautiful people we’ve seen in Poznań — inside and spilling out onto the pavement.

Naturally, we followed the noise.
And friends, let us introduce you to Koniec Świata — aka The End of the World — the bar you didn’t know you needed in your life until right now.
Welcome to the End (of the World)
We walked in expecting just another rock bar. What we got was a full-blown apocalypse aesthetic with style and swagger. We’re talking gas masks on the walls, industrial train benches for seating, AK-47s, machetes, murals, eerie lighting, and details so sharp it looked like a post-apocalyptic Wes Anderson film. It’s intimate, raw, and mad stylish. Think Mad Max meets Peaky Blinders — but with beer.
We had to know who was behind this madness.

Meet Ola
The brains, soul, and spirit of the End of the World. She was there (like always, apparently), cool as hell and happy to chat. She poured us a drink (okay, two… okay fine maybe more) and gave us the backstory.
Turns out, this rockstar of a woman ditched a boring corporate job after her divorce, gathered a crew of misfits, opened with the help of her friend Błażej and put Alex, the main man behind the bar, and brought her vision of a post-apocalyptic paradise to life. A legend move, tbh.
And get this — Koniec Świata’s been open for a year. A WHOLE YEAR. How did we not know about this place? Who kept this secret??

Powered by Harpagan
Ola also tipped us off about their collab with Harpagan Brewery — a wild local craft beer gang whose name literally means “a man full of energy, positivity, and a hint of madness.” Sound familiar?
Their cans are insane. The taste? Let’s just say we stayed longer than we meant to. Also, shoutout to Harpagan’s sales & event manager who just so happened to be in the bar drinking the goods (gotta love market research). We’ve booked an interview with those maniacs next — stay tuned for that madness.

Shots Roulette, Rock Vibes, and Late-Night Mayhem
While we were vibin’, the bar filled up. Fast. Locals, regulars, tourists — everyone seemed to know. Drinks kept flowing — Harpagan craft bombs, funky rums, cocktails with serious punch, and a game of shots roulette broke out. Yep, it’s a thing.
There’s a genuine sense of community here. You can feel it in the way Ola and her team treat everyone like old friends. It’s not just a bar. It’s a little family of night owls, weirdos, rock lovers, and rebels.
And let’s talk about the music. LOUD enough to feel it in your chest, but still chill enough to talk nonsense with your mates without shouting. Absolute goldilocks zone. Rock anthems, punky bangers, and that energy that makes you want to slam back a drink and howl at the moon.

Boom!
Just when we thought this place couldn’t get any cooler — boom, they hit us with Mahjong Sundays. Yep, every Sunday night at Koniec Świata, the cocktails keep flowing and the mahjong tiles start clacking.
Never played? Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game of skill, strategy, and a little bit of luck. Think of it like a way cooler, more chaotic version of rummy — but with tiles instead of cards and a vibe that feels halfway between a board game and a street duel. It’s all about patterns, poker faces, and lowkey flexing your brain power.
And don’t worry if you’ve never played before — Ola and the crew will happily show you the ropes (while handing you a beer, of course).
So if you’re looking for a Sunday ritual that’s half chill, half competitive, and 100% badass, head down to Koniec Świata. Mahjong + craft beer + post-apocalyptic decor = end your weekend like a legend.

So Here’s The Deal
This place is now our go-to for Friday nights in the Old Town, hands down. We’re heading back next week to sit down with Ola properly, play some more bar games, and report back with our Top 3 Koniec Świata drinks (strictly for research, of course 😉).
Until then — stop what you’re doing, cancel your plans, and get to Gołębia 4 Street. Trust us. And if you’re looking for a Sunday ritual that’s half chill, half competitive, and 100% badass, head down to Koniec Świata. Mahjong + craft beer + post-apocalyptic decor = end your weekend like a legend. End of the World never looked so damn good.
