Review: Autumn menu at Fajrant!

The Lowdown

We took a trip down to Fajrant on Żydowska 27 Street in the old Town to check out their new autumn menu, and trust us, it’s the kind of cozy spot you wanna spend these last few sunny days at. Decked out with plants, pumpkins, and some real laid-back vibes, Fajrant’s garden has quickly become the place to chill — but the inside is just as inviting for when the weather turns.

The Cinnamon Waffle

Kicking things off, we went straight for the Cinnamon Waffle with vanilla cream and homemade gingerbread cookies. Think of it as autumn on a plate. The waffle itself has that perfect balance of cinnamon warmth, the vanilla cream is light and smooth, and those gingerbread cookies? Soft, spiced, and the ideal finishing touch. Each bite felt like a hug from the season itself.

The Pumpkin Waffle

Next was our favorite, the Autumn Waffles with pumpkin, whipped feta, pumpkin purée, balsamic drizzle, and sunflower seeds. The combo? Pure magic. The salty feta hits you first, then the pumpkin purée brings this subtle sweetness, while the balsamic ties it all together with a tangy kick. The sunflower seeds add that extra crunch you didn’t know you needed.

The Toasted Oyster Mushroom Jerky

We couldn’t pass up the Toasted Oyster Mushroom Jerky, and wow, it was everything. Smoky, chewy, and packed with umami flavor — it’s like the mushroom version of a dream snack. You could easily polish off 2 or 3 of these without even realizing it.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte

But the real MVP? Their Pumpkin Spice Latte. Skip the Starbucks and go for this — it’s cheaper, tastier, and comes topped with whipped cream that’s thick and rich. The pumpkin flavor is legit, none of that overly sweet nonsense, just smooth and perfectly spiced.

The Autumn Tea

Oh, and if you’re feeling extra cozy, their Autumn Tea with raspberries and a trio of mousse options — raspberry, honey, and fruit — is a must. It’s like sipping fall in a cup, comforting and vibrant.

The Final Word

So, if you’re looking to kick off the new season right, do it the Fajrant way. With those waffles, teas, mushrooms and pumpkin spice goodness, there’s no better place to welcome autumn in style. Hot tip: On a sunny day, make your way to the back of the garden just before sunset. Trust us, once you’re there, you’ll get exactly what we mean.
