The owners, veterans of the automotive industry, have embarked on a new venture (beg 2024) with the Pod Papugami Clubhouse in Poznań’s Old Town. Their vision: a space where live music, soulful ambiance, and genuine camaraderie converge to foster new relationships and alleviate everyday stresses. Even the name draws from the famous Polish singer Czesław Niemen‘s iconic song, evoking imagery of carefree gatherings and spirited conversations.

In addition to its cultural offerings, the venue boasts a sophisticated cigar lounge featuring an exquisite selection of cigars from renowned regions such as Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba. Nestled within a classic cedar wood humidor, these premium cigars are meticulously stored to preserve their exceptional taste and aroma. And let’s not forget about the steak fries, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Another standout dish at Pod Papugami is their Tatar. This delightful dish features finely chopped shallots and onion puree, adding depth and sweetness to each bite. The briny notes of capers provide a burst of tanginess, while the aromatic lovage adds a subtle herbal undertone. Pickled cucumber lends a refreshing crunch, perfectly complementing the savory elements of the dish. Topped with a luscious egg yolk, the Tatar boasts a luxurious creaminess that binds all the flavors together. Served alongside a strip of warm, freshly baked focaccia, it’s a dish that leaves a lasting impression.
