17 Poznań Restaurants Just Made the Gault & Millau 2026 Guide

Every year the food world drops one of its most respected guides — the legendary Gault & Millau Poland 2026.

Think of it as the cooler, slightly rebellious cousin of Michelin Guide. Less white tablecloth snobbery, more chef creativity, bold flavours, and kitchens doing something interesting.

Instead of stars, they give out points out of 20 and those iconic “toques” (chef hats). The higher the score, the sharper the kitchen game.

And this year?

Poznań just flexed hard.

A total of 17 restaurants from the city made the 2026 Yellow Guide, which basically means these kitchens are officially on the radar of Europe’s food scouts. Not bad for a city some outsiders still think is just about croissants and Stary Rynek beers.

Here’s the squad that made the cut:

Top scorers

A Knife Fork – 15.5 / 20 (3 hats)

Muga – 15 / 20 (3 hats)

Two hat territory

Nare Sushi Skórzewo – 13.5 / 20

Cucina Restaurant – 13 / 20

Bazaar 1838 – 12 / 20

NOOKS – 10.5 / 20

So What Does This Actually Mean?

Simple.

It means Poznań’s food scene is quietly levelling up.

These aren’t just random picks — inspectors visit anonymously, eat like normal guests, and judge everything from technique to creativity to consistency.

Translation: if you’re on this list, your kitchen is doing something right. Although it surprises us that the 4 and 5 hat still evades us in Poznan!

Poznań Daily Is Going In

Of course, we couldn’t just sit back and read the guide like normal people.

We’re doing what we do best:

Testing them ourselves.

Over the next weeks we’ll be eating our way through the list and revealing our Poznań Daily TOP 3.

No white gloves.
No fancy food critic jargon.
Just honest verdicts from the table.
