Victoria Disappeared Without a Trace — Police Sound the Alarm on a Growing Trend

Something troubling is happening in Poznań.

Another teenager has gone missing—and police are becoming increasingly concerned. This time, it’s 16-year-old Wiktoria Kosicka, who vanished without a trace just days ago. She hasn’t returned home. She hasn’t called. Her whereabouts remain completely unknown.

Wiktoria was last seen on Wednesday, May 28, around 3 p.m., leaving her apartment on Półwiejska Street in central Poznań. That was the last anyone heard from her.

She is 170 cm tall, slim, with dark blond hair to her shoulders, and wears prescription glasses. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black long pants, a brown T-shirt, a black hoodie, and carrying a black purse.

The Poznań Stare Miasto Police have issued a public appeal for help. If you’ve seen Wiktoria or have any information, you are urged to contact them immediately at 47 77 124 11/12.

But beyond the urgency of finding Wiktoria, the police are also raising alarm about a deeper issue.

“This is not an isolated case,” officials say.
“We are seeing an increase in young people disappearing from their homes—especially minors.”

It’s a disturbing pattern that’s becoming more frequent. Teenagers leaving home and not returning, often without warning, sometimes in dangerous or vulnerable situations. Each missing person report isn’t just a file—it’s a family in crisis, a young life potentially at risk.

The reasons behind these disappearances vary—conflicts at home, online influences, peer pressure—but the results are the same: terrified families and growing public concern.

Authorities are urging parents to stay alert and communicate regularly with their children. Meanwhile, officers continue to search for Wiktoria, hoping she will return safely.

But the question remains: how many more young people have to vanish before something changes?

If you have any information about Wiktoria Kosicka or any other recent disappearance, don’t hesitate. Speak up. Call the police. One tip could make all the difference.

This isn’t just another case. This is someone’s daughter. Someone’s friend.
And right now—she’s still missing.
