The Łazarz Spot next on our review list 🍪

The word on the street

Alright, so word on the street is there’s a new little gem tucked away on Małeckiego 22 in Łazarz. It’s called Biscuit House Cafe. Naturally, we had to investigate because, well, how could we not?

We are told the place has a backstory. The owners? A family from Kherson, Ukraine, who brought their passion for baking to Poznań after life threw them some serious curveballs. What started as a hobby back home turned into a business after a neighbor gifted them a mixer, leading to Easter desserts and, eventually, Biscuit House. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade—or, in this case, cakes and coffee.

The Lowdown on Their Menu

Here’s what we’ve heard. Among their repertoire, these are apparently the two absolute must try’s…

🔥 Dubai Chocolate

Creamy, dreamy, and apparently worth the hype. This nutty treat that has taken over social media feeds this year, and it’s a very specific chocolate bar. This milk chocolate candy is stuffed with crispy knafeh — finely shredded phyllo dough — and a creamy pistachio spread. Can’t wait to try this one!

🔥 San Sebastian Cheesecake

Known for its caramelized, slightly charred top layer and luxuriously creamy inside. Here’s the kicker: You can top it off with either rich chocolate or pistachio bliss. Both bring their own magic, and honestly, we’re struggling to decide which one we’ll try first. 😋

We have also heard some rave reviews about their Pistachio Croissants—buttery layers with a pistachio filling that’s supposedly next-level. They even have a Pistachio Cappucino which has grabbed our attention! The Dubai cheesecake also looks super interesting!

Here’s The Deal

So here’s the deal: we’re making plans to hit up Biscuit House ASAP to dive into this menu and report back with our recs. Because let’s be real, we’re not just about hearing the hype—we’re about tasting it. Stay tuned, and until then, maybe swing by Maleckiego and let us know what you think. Just don’t eat all the pistachio croissants before we get there.
