The steak at Tu i Teraz might just be the best steak in Poznań we’ve ever had.
What makes a great steak?
A truly great steak should be a symphony of flavors and textures. It should be juicy, tender, and full of rich, beefy flavor. The exterior should have a perfect crust, seasoned just right to enhance the natural flavors of the meat without overwhelming it. The interior should be a succulent pink, cooked to your preference, but always retaining that melt-in-your-mouth quality. When paired with the right sides and sauces, a great steak becomes an unforgettable culinary experience.

The beef steak at Tu i Teraz, priced at 126 zł, was nothing short of perfection. This gluten-free masterpiece came adorned with coarse-grained pepper, baked potatoes, a fresh vegetable salad, herb butter, and a garlic sauce that redefined deliciousness.
From the first bite, the steak proved to be an exquisite blend of flavors. The coarse-grained pepper added just the right amount of kick, enhancing the beef’s natural taste without overpowering it. The steak’s crust was seared to perfection, giving way to an incredibly tender and juicy interior that practically melted in our mouths.

The accompaniments were no mere afterthought. The baked potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a perfect balance that complemented the steak beautifully. The salad, made with fresh vegetables, provided a refreshing contrast, adding a crisp texture and a burst of vibrant flavors to the meal.

The herb butter was another highlight, infusing the steak with a subtle, aromatic richness. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the garlic sauce. It was creamy, garlicky, and utterly addictive. The grand finale of our meal involved dipping slices of warm bread into this garlic sauce – a simple yet divine act that was the perfect end to an extraordinary dining experience.

Pairing the steak with a robust red wine elevated the meal to another level. Each sip of the wine brought out new dimensions of flavor in the steak, making the entire experience one to remember.
As seasoned reviewers for Poznan Daily, we’ve enjoyed many fantastic meals across town, but this steak at Tu i Teraz stands out as one of the best.
