A mission that has taken us through the loud beats of DJs, the mysterious mixology of cocktail ninjas, and the clipboard-wielding sorcery of wedding planners who can make a full-blown bridezilla vanish (well… sometimes). But our restless search for the ultimate wedding and event wow-factor didn’t stop there. Nope—we wanted to level up. This time, we wanted magic.

And not the “Uncle Wojtek pulling a coin from behind your ear” kind of magic. We mean real deal, eyes-wide, “how-the-heck-did-he-do-that” illusion. Which is how we stumbled into the world of Łukasz, Poznań’s very own illusionist.

Reaching Out

Now, a little background check later (yes, we’re thorough—we even looked for a Hogwarts diploma), and we were intrigued enough to meet him in person. Coffee was the cover story, but what we really got was a private magic show—and let me tell you, our caffeine wasn’t the only thing making our hearts race.

Cards morphed, objects disappeared, reality bent like it owed Łukasz money, and all of this happened literally half a meter from our very skeptical eyes. Usually, we’re pretty good at spotting sleight of hand—call it our occupational hazard of being nosy journalists—but this guy? Slick. So slick that we’re still patting our pockets to check if he didn’t make off with our wallets. (Spoiler: he didn’t. Magician, not pickpocket.)
