New kids on the block in Wilda!

The Lowdown

Alright, Wilda fam, listen up—there’s a fresh new spot in town, and it’s exactly what this neighborhood has been starving for. We’re talking about Seashell Sushi, posted up on Robocza 48. If you know Wilda, you know it’s been seriously neglected when it comes to decent eats, and the restaurant scene? Yeah, you could count the gems on one hand. But Seashell is here to shake things up, and we’re all for it.

Huge props to the owners, Artyom and Max—two young guns making serious moves at just 23 and 24. These guys saw the potential in Wilda when no one else did, and it looks like they’re onto something special. We haven’t had the chance to dig into the food yet, but just talking to the manager, Brando, we’re hyped. The place checks all the boxes: vibe, concept, and originality. Brando gave us the lowdown on how it all came together and even dropped a few recommendations we’re itching to try. So trust, we’ll be back soon to give you the scoop.

Artyom

Now let’s get into the bosses, ’cause it’s straight-up inspiring. Seashell Sushi is more than just another restaurant—it’s a dream come true for these two homies. Artyom, born and raised on his grandma’s cooking, has been in the kitchen since he was a kid. Yeah, he started out cracking eggs and making messes, but that’s where his passion for food came from.

Max

Max? Dude grew up on a farm, spending his days fishing and grilling with the fam. Fresh ingredients and legit flavors were always a part of his life. So when the two met at culinary school in Lublin, it was like destiny—they instantly clicked and started plotting to open their own spot.

the dream comes true

After grinding for a while—Artyom as a sushi master in Italy and Max running the show at a restaurant in Lublin—Artyom hit up Poznań for a visit and was blown away. Within two weeks, both of them quit their jobs and made the move to bring their sushi dream to life in the capital of Greater Poland.

the Space

And they didn’t just take any space—they built Seashell Sushi from the ground up, literally. Floors, walls, tables, chairs—you name it, they did it. They even called in their designer friend Maryia, who helped craft the whole vibe, down to the logo. The end result? A super-modern, cozy spot that’s miles ahead of anything else in Wilda. You walk in, and it feels like something special, something this part of town’s been missing for years.

the chow

So, what’s on the menu? We’re talking fusion sushi with a twist. Take the sour-sweet uramaki with pears and camembert for 34zł. Or how about the Greek roll with feta, black olives, and red pepper for 38zł? Their signature dish, apparently the mango roll, comes loaded with salmon, Philadelphia, avocado, almond, and topped off with mango sauce and teriyaki for 42zł. It’s a mad mix of Asian flavors with European flair, and we can already tell it’s gonna slap. Below are a few random photos we grabbed from their socials…

Don’t worry, they’ve got the classics too—salmon hosomaki (18zł), miso soup (25zł), and a solid udon with all the right fixings for 36zł. Everything’s fresh, handpicked, and top quality. They’re not about shortcuts, so you won’t find any pre-processed junk on your plate.

The Verdict

Cant be 100% sure until we sit down proper and try the chow but Seashell Sushi is like an oasis in the middle of Wilda, standing out in all the best ways. It’s about time something like this showed up. We’re already planning our return to dive into the menu, and we’ll report back with our full review. We hope it will be good…really good! In the meantime, if you’re feeling adventurous, hit it up and let us know what you think in the comments. ‘Cause honestly, we can’t wait to see this spot blow up.
