Since its inception in 2019, this distinctive establishment has firmly entrenched itself on Poznań’s culinary map, proudly holding the title of the sole Gingerbread House in Greater Poland.
The birth of PiernikoMania emanates from the family’s baking legacy and the founder’s artistic passion. Seeking her place in the confectionery realm, Martyna initially experimented with cake decoration using icing. However, juggling the demands of caring for small children and intricate cake decorating proved challenging. A turning point arrived when her sister gifted her a gingerbread decorating course by Ania Komisarczyk as a birthday present. Since then, there’s been no turning back, and PiernikoMania has evolved to offer not only intricate gingerbread creations but also some of the finest pastries in town!
Inspired, Martyna launched a fun page called “PiernikoMania” to showcase her gingerbread creations to the world which evolved to an online shop. As orders increased, necessitating a larger space, the first gingerbread house in Poznań officially opened in April 2019. Today, it serves as the hub for baking gingerbread cookies in diverse flavors, a place to enjoy aromatic coffee, work remotely, relish homemade cake, or purchase gingerbread for various occasions.
