LECH POZNAŃ: CHAMPIONS, BABY.

Its done

It’s done. It’s real. It’s ours. After a wild ride of a season, Lech Poznań are back on top, snatching their 9th Polish league title with a gritty 1–0 win over Piast Gliwice on Saturday.

And yeah — it was tense. It was tight. But Afonso Sousa came through clutch in the 39th minute, and that one goal? It hit like a cannon. 💥

Final whistle blows. Whole city erupts. Poznań just did the damn thing.

The Stats

First title since 2022.
One point ahead of Raków.
68 goals scored – most in the league.
Only 31 goals conceded – second-best defense.
Almost 29K fans per match — record-setting scenes.

Big ups to Danish manager Niels Frederiksen, who just became the first foreign coach to ever win the Ekstraklasa with Lech. Man’s already a legend status.

No Europe this year? Cool. Gave the boys that extra gas for the run-in. While the others ran outta steam, Lech kept climbing — straight to the summit.

And yo… it went down to the wire. Four teams in the mix, but only one crowned king.
Poznań, stand up — this one’s for you.

What’s next?

Lech heads to the Champions League qualifiers.
Raków & Jagiellonia hit the Conference League.
Legia’s off to the Europa League after bagging the cup.

Oh — and shoutout to Efthymis Koulouris from Pogoń Szczecin, dude went full beast mode with 28 goals. But guess what? Goals win games — Lech wins titles.

The champagne’s still cold. The flares are still lit. And the city? Still buzzing.

Poznań is champion again.
Let that sink in.
And let everyone know — the kings are back.
