For most Uber Eats couriers in Poznań, delivering food is an honest day’s work—one that many hardworking Ukrainian migrants do with dedication and respect for the city. But one bad apple was spoiling the bunch, and fortunately, he’s now out of the picture.

A 46-year-old Ukrainian Uber Eats cyclist turned Poznań’s streets into his personal battlefield, attacking unsuspecting passersby with a telescopic baton and his fists. His rampage included striking a man walking with his child, assaulting a homeless person, and harassing young girls with vulgar gestures before punching a bystander who dared to call him out.
The nightmare began on March 27 at Święty Marcin Street when he lashed out at someone simply reminding him that cycling on the sidewalk is prohibited. Instead of acknowledging his wrongdoing, he responded with violence—earning himself a swift takedown by courageous witnesses who detained him until police arrived.
The police didn’t just stop at the attack. A search of his residence revealed a 15 cm knife and illegal drugs, further solidifying the fact that he was a menace rather than a mere delivery worker trying to make ends meet.

Enough was enough. The authorities acted decisively, and the Poznań Municipal Police Commander requested the Border Guard to issue a deportation order. The result? This rogue courier has not only been expelled from Poland but is now banned from re-entering the country—or any Schengen state—for eight years.
Unlike the many respectful and hardworking Ukrainian migrants who contribute positively to Poznań, this man was a disgrace to the uniform. His departure is a welcome relief for residents, ensuring the city’s streets are safer for everyone. One thing’s for sure: good riddance.
