On Wednesday, July 17, the Wielkopolska police announced the arrest of 27-year-old Roger M., a rapper known for his connections to the local pseudo-hooligan scene. The arrest came after police intercepted 67 kg of drugs in total, making it one of the largest recent drug seizures in the region.

The Raid and Arrest

The arrest unfolded when police spotted Roger M. on the street in Puszczykowo near Poznań. He was swiftly incapacitated and taken into custody. A search of the car he was using revealed 4.5 kg of drugs. The subsequent raid on his apartment uncovered an additional 63 kg of marijuana and mephedrone, turning his residence into a veritable drug warehouse.

“The suspect was noticed by policemen on the street in Puszczykowo near Poznań. He was immediately incapacitated and detained. The police found 4.5 kg of drugs in the car he used. When they entered his apartment, they discovered a real drug warehouse. There was an additional 63 kg of marijuana and mephedrone,” reported Andrzej Borowiak, spokesman for the Greater Poland police.

The arrest followed extensive operational activities by the police’s drug department, who had been gathering intelligence on Roger M.’s involvement in large-scale drug trafficking for some time. Their findings led the prosecutor’s office to initiate an investigation, which culminated in the raid and arrest.
