Another Teen Missing in Poznań — 2025 Brings No Change as Disappearances Continue

It’s happened again.

Despite years of warnings, campaigns, and social media pleas, teens are still going missing in Poznań — and nothing seems to be changing. The latest case? 12-year-old Bohdan Cherkashyn, who vanished yesterday afternoon after leaving school.

On Wednesday, April 16, around 12:20 p.m., Bohdan walked out of his school on ul. Wyspiańskiego in the Grunwald district. He never made it home. He hasn’t contacted his family. He hasn’t been seen since.

Police have released the following description:

  • Height: ~162 cm
  • Build: Slim
  • Hair: Short, brown
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Clothing: Blue jeans, sports shoes, T-shirt, and a black jacket.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Bohdan or knows where he might be to come forward. Call the Grunwald police department at 47 77 121 11 or 47 77 121 12.

Let’s be real — this isn’t just one case. It’s part of a disturbing trend in Poznań. Kids are disappearing, families are left in anguish, and yet the stories fade from the headlines before answers ever come.

Share this story. Keep your eyes open. And if you know anything — speak up.
