The Georgians
Poland is a country of opportunity, safety, and hard-earned prosperity. But instead of appreciating the luxury of living in this country, some choose to abuse it, turning peaceful neighborhoods into their personal hunting grounds. This time, a gang of Georgian criminals has been convicted for a wave of home burglaries that left innocent Polish families traumatized and over a million złoty poorer.

A Crime Spree
Three Georgians—Badri K. (30), Giorgi E. (31), and Avtandil J. (45)—have been sentenced to 8 to 15 years behind bars by the District Court in Poznań for their systematic, ruthless burglaries. These men didn’t just steal valuables; they stole peace of mind, turning safe homes into crime scenes.
Their method? Simple but devastating. They targeted homes in and around Poznań, hitting multiple locations in a single day. Kościan, Pobiedziska, Kamionki, and Czempiń—communities that should be safe—were shaken by their criminal rampage.
No Respect, No Remorse
These criminals refused to cooperate, didn’t testify, and even pretended they had no memory of how or when they came to Poland. Typical. A well-organized, tight-knit group that cares about nothing but its own profits, while law-abiding Poles are left dealing with the damage.
Despite their silence, justice prevailed. Thanks to vigilant residents and the tireless work of Polish law enforcement, these criminals were identified, tracked, and arrested. During their capture, they carried fake documents and stolen jewelry—proof of their utter disregard for the laws and lives they violated.

Growing Wave of Foreign Crime
This is not an isolated incident. With visa-free travel granted to Georgia by the EU, there has been a disturbing rise in crimes committed by its citizens. Statistics paint a grim picture:
Georgians are the #1 nationality in cases of illegal stays in Poland.
They are #2 in illegal employment cases.
The burglary detection rate is only 53%, making it an ongoing battle for law enforcement.
The police are overwhelmed, and Polish citizens are paying the price.
