As one of the most ubiquitous grocery stores in Poznań, Żabka is known for its convenience and reasonably priced snacks. Their hot dogs, priced around 6 PLN depending on the size, have gained a decent reputation for being tasty and affordable. So, when we saw the special offer for a burger priced at just 5,50 PLN, down from the usual 9,99 PLN, we couldn’t resist giving it a try.
The Anticipation
Żabka stores are located on practically every street in Poznań, making them a popular stop for quick snacks and meals. With high expectations set by their hot dogs, we were curious to see how their burger would measure up, especially given the attractive discount.
The Reality
From the moment we unwrapped the burger, we were met with disappointment. Although it was hot, the appearance left much to be desired. The patty looked unappetizing, and the overall presentation was far from enticing. Still, we held out hope that the taste might redeem its lackluster appearance.
Unfortunately, that was not the case. After one bite, we had to spit it out. The flavor was terrible, and the texture was off-putting. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. It’s hard to believe that a store known for its decent hot dogs could produce such a subpar burger.
Final Verdict
In the end, we cannot stress this enough: DO NOT EAT THIS BURGER from Żabka. It should be illegal to sell something of this poor quality. While Żabka’s hot dogs remain a reasonably good choice for a quick and cheap snack, their burger is a definite thumbs down. Save your money and your taste buds—skip the burger and stick to what Żabka does best. Any comments are welcome below…
