3 delicious Vietnamese dishes in Jezyce to try before you die!

In our quest to explore Vietnamese culinary offerings in Poznan, we stumbled upon what is likely the city’s pioneer Vietnamese restaurant – Thanh Ha. Nestled on Szamarzewskiego 11 in Jezyce, this establishment, named after its proprietor, Thanh Ha, has been tantalizing taste buds for over two decades with Vietnamese dishes in Jezyce. Having sampled a selection of dishes, we’ve curated a list of our top three favorites, each a delightful and, as Thanh Ha proudly asserts, authentically Vietnamese experience that we highly recommend you savor first hand.

First up is the Pho Bo with beef for 30 PLN featuring thinly sliced beef in a rich, aromatic broth with flat rice noodles. The beef is added raw, cooking gently in the hot broth. Fresh herbs and condiments like basil, cilantro, mint, bean sprouts, and lime wedges enhance the flavors. It’s a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, showcasing Vietnamese culinary excellence.

Second up we recommend the Duck on a Hot Platter for 42 PLN featuring succulent duck pieces served on a sizzling platter. The duck is seasoned with a flavorful blend of Vietnamese spices, creating a tantalizing aroma. The sizzling presentation adds a dynamic element to the dish, and is accompanied by fresh herbs, vegetables, and a side of dipping sauce. The result is a delightful combination of tender duck meat, aromatic spices, and a visually appealing presentation that captures the essence of Vietnamese cuisine.

Third but not least is the delicious Fried noodles with beef. If I’m being honest it is not the most visually appealing dish of the three but it is definitely my favorite. For 34 PLN you get a huge portion and the dish is enriched with a medley of fresh vegetables such as carrots, bell peppers, and bean sprouts, adding vibrant colors and textures. The noodles are seasoned with a flavorful blend of Vietnamese sauces and spices, providing a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and umami flavors. Garnished with herbs, this Vietnamese delight offers a harmonious combination of succulent beef, crisp vegetables, and well-seasoned noodles, making it my top dish at Thanh Ha. I will be back soon!

While savoring the exquisite Vietnamese delicacies, it’s highly recommended to complement your meal with a cup of Vietnamese coffee or refreshing green tea. Vietnamese coffee, known for its bold and rich flavor, is served with condensed milk, providing a delightful contrast of sweetness and robust coffee notes. On the other hand, the green tea, with its clean and soothing taste, acts as a refreshing palate cleanser, enhancing the overall dining experience. These beverage choices not only add authenticity to your meal but also contribute to the immersive Vietnamese culinary journey offered at Thanh Ha.
