This time, we’re heading riverside — straight to BIA Tennis Academy at the POSIR Rataje courts. If you want serious tennis vibes without bouncing out of the city, this is it. Right by the Warta River and its laid-back promenade, you’ll feel that fresh nature energy while still being in the heart of town. It’s the perfect setup to lock in on your game — or just vibe out after your session.
Fun fact: BIA Tennis Academy is named after the founders daughter, Bianca, adding a personal touch to the academy’s mission of nurturing talent!
The Founder
Behind the Academy is a real one — Jakub Puchalski. Dude’s got credentials: a Physical Education grad specialized in tennis coaching and sports management, an Executive MBA under his belt, and real-world experience managing heavy hitters like Magda Linette who has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 19 in 2023. After sharpening his skills in Poland and Norway (shoutout Scandinavia for the grind mindset), Jakub came back and built BIA Tennis Academy from scratch in 2014 — all with one mission: turning passion into lifestyle.
The Classes
At BIA, it’s all about that community grind. Tiny tots starting from 2 years old, young guns, adults — there’s a spot for everybody. They roll with the best international training methods (ITF Tennis 10 for the kiddos, Tennis Express for the grown-ups), meaning you’ll be playing real matches quicker than you think.
Whether you want one-on-one coaching or to vibe with a tight group (max 6 for kids, max 4 for adults), they’ve got you. And if you’re hungry for more? They also host tournaments, camps, and even tennis trips that’ll take your game (and your social life) next level.
